Dave, You sent me your original books when you thought you'd never need them again. Send me a PM with your mailing address and they'll get sent home in a most riki-tick fashion! :) They were very helpful reference works when I was setting up...

Be careful with drifting that sight, it really does not take much. A 8 pound sledge is probably overkill to drift the sight the amount needed and a 3 pounder could be used if handled judiciously . . . That said . . . This will allow you to...

Congrats on a fine job of purchasing. Put me down for wanting to see a picture. I still regret passing up a type 38 Carbine in Nashville some years ago, because it had a walnut (two piece, but walnut) stock and appeared to be unfired. Is this...

For me Mike, I have to limit my recoil due to some neck surgery I had a few years back. downloading that JDJ cartridge to recoil levels I can handle really isn't worth going past the 357-44B&D levels in a light single-shot gun. Bruce

I could have sworn someone on this site had been working on a 30 caliber wildcat built of a 357 Magnum case that they were calling a Bobcat. If you run a 300BLK sizer die over a 357 Magnum case you probably would come up with a nice looking...

It was designed for a Truncated Cone bullet profile if I remember the history on that cartridge's development in the Post WWI timeframe. http://cartridgecollectors.org/documents/Introduction-to-9mm-Luger-Cartridges.pdf I prefer to shoot TC...

The Lyman 311359 mold drops a short spirepoint gas-checked 115gr bullet that I use for my 300BLK and 30 Apache chambered ARs.

I have a 5" 400 Corbon barrel for my Govt model 1911. I found I prefer the 145gr bullet over the 170gr bullet for range use. If I was considering using it for deer, I might consider the heavier bullet but the 145gr SWC does it for me. I use the...
