I would be concerned about mildew and moisture in such a closed `safe`. It should have a `golden rod` heater or a light bulb on all the time, dessicant containers would also be a must have item to keep dampness at bay.Robert

I love the caption under the picture of a rifle cartridge casing sitting in a crease of the concrete. "You shouldn`t pick up empty cartridge casings since they contain lead"! Guess I`ve been doing it all wrong for the last 60 + years of picking up...

richard, the reading of the confetti is a must do experience. if you patch a little forward of the start of ogive, you will allow for a little nose slump. if the confetti from this is not fully cut to the front, you will see by how much, and can...

Don't know if the twist on your 1886 in .40-82 will stabilize a very heavy bullet? The cartridge was an "express" round and designed around the 260 grain bullet. If you can source some I would try a few heavier bullets in some test loads before...

Plus the variety of .30 calibre bullets that a handloader can utilize in a .308 is huge ... from 100 grain half jacket "plinkers" up to 220 grain round nose (although in a .308 with a short action magazine the practical weight range is really from...
