Well, Today dawned with bright sunshine and birds at the feeder. No appointments and no demands today. Even arthur is leaving me alone. I'll probably make it to the bench for a while. Life is good.

I envy you that Beautiful setup, I'll go along with the rest of the guys. That die cabinet is fantastic. Makes me wish I lived several hundred miles to the north. I'd drop by with a big thermos of coffee. But I'd guess you've probably got a...

I consider it a civic duty to clean trash from the streets. The fact that I recycle them is irrelevant, especially the opposing party's rubbish. At least I wait till after the elections unlike the rowdies that kick over or take what I display..

The only problems I can see, is there is no heating pad for the backrest on the work/reloading bench chair. And if that's your definition of a "cluttered" room, then you, Sir have a severe case of ocd.

There were molds made to take a zinc washer that was put into the mold before filling with alloy. My DAD & his buddies tried them. Slow casting and accuracy disappointing.

Dipper casting with a one or two cavity mold is a great way to learn. Just be sure use a GOOD dipper like LYMAN'S. And please don't buy the tiny Lee "pot". Four pounds is barely enough to get your mold up to casting temp, even if you preheated...

No they sure don't make them like they used too. I saw one at the True Value. I could lift it off the ground with two fingers of my bad hand. The one I bought when they came out in 1976 is built like a tank and still tough enough for an...

Would you really want to cast & load right out in front of a storage locker. Who knows what type of people would walk by, watch what you're doing. Maybe call the Cops or wonder how to break into your locker.
