Soon I'll be able to shoot 4-5 deer per year , in the mean time I'm stuck with 1000 ftlb @ 100 yd and 1 tag by lottery draw . I think the only lead chunk I every had was in wild fowl , well except for that one with the 25-06' , I did find the...

I did have a 25 cal 117 gr partition get spread around a little bit . It was a quartering away shot about 175 yd with a 25-06' clocking 3k at the muzzle . It hit dead square at full lunge on the shoulder ball and took a half dollar swipe out of the...

Remington produced the Nitrosteel line of shells . Right on the cases , 2 3/4" cases , it says in plain English max average pressure 1050 BAR . My calculator says that's 15,000 PSI . 1050 BAR and 15,000 PSI shouldn't be confused with the older...

I'm sure it can be done . A bold print negative cut into a die fitted to the rim dia and a quick tap . You would need a fairly skilled mill operator . There's an outfit in Oregon or Washington State that does a mirco laser engraving tool set...

You could snag a 300BO Axis trade off the 223 mag for a 308/243 stagger feed and get a 35 Remington, 762-36 or 6.8 bolt head . You'll need to buy or build a bbl vice/wrench and get a Savage bbl nut wrench and a fired 300bo and a new 30-30 case...
