I replaced or at least ordered a new 6C 358-200FP and 6C 452-200 RNFP from Titian . I will probably settle in after while and load some just shooting ammo and some work ups for the 257 .

Our mineable back stops are blow sand so the morning after a good rain or high winds is best . I built a 1/4" mesh frame about 18x36 and angled our "desert ranges" don't concentrate the berm into lanes so you pick a heavily shot spot and shovel it...

If you're after the head and not the case the 22 Nosler is a rebated rim on the 6.8 case that could be taken up to 40 . The 357 Herritt dies work here to make a named cat that escapes me on both the 6.8 and the 22 Nosler they run in 6.8 mags and...

I was happy with our deal also . He drove 10 miles across town to deliver , he told me he'd have come on out to the freeway if he'd known I was headed for San Antonio from Texarkana . Very pleasant guy to meet .

I haven't tried it but the modern Colts may have a sufficient groove above the rim to allow for a moon clip or a tight fitted spacer on the ejector . A peened moon clip cut to say 90 around the case under the rim and spot peened to stay firmly...

I would presume that your Colts cases would be cut/trimmed to correct ACP head space length ? If so when I tried it it didn't go well . That was in a Colts 1917 when I run across those 12 cases again I will try them in the S&W cylinders and the...

In truth the A/C aluminum does oxidize but is corrosion resistant so the oxide layer behaves like bluing on steel being a controlled rust .

I have a NOE 454424 aluminum 5 C . It takes about 17-20 pours with a 750 pot on the preheated mould to have it over heated . Even the 6C Lee 452-255 isn't all that hard to get too hot . I think that a bath in Dawn and hot water will set the mould...

This is the Williams 5D . I got it for $36 at Midway . I have the same Remlin flip down sight on the 1895 45-70 and it runs out of elevation with 45-70-405 barely on paper at 100.

I put a Williams 5D on my 1895G as I ran out of elevation trying to get a 1600 fps 45-70-405 on paper at 100 . It makes a good picture within the limits of the factory front bead .
