There are a pretty finite list of candidates for a 100 gr TC with 90 and 110 gr data available . The 110 let's out 380 ,but leaves it wide open for 9mm and a host of 32s and 30 Carbine . It's not even really a question in a rifle . His other...

As an example I know of a 120 gr boolit load that has a load window of 14-26 gr of Unique . In that particular platform and cartridge I'm good to go with a 14.0 start on 125 gr boolit in a 264 WM in an FN 98 . The 140 gr data is 12-22 gr I think ....

Makes perfect sense to this ol'wrench grinder . The guide is to start at the start load of the next heavier bullet . Until I get a feel for/depending on the gun , boolit and cartridge I may even treat the start load of the next lighter...

I cast good bullets for 6-7 yr with a campchief single burner , a big Dutch oven and a soup spoon strategically adjusted and hooked to a piece of broom handle . After that long I decided I liked it . I have a 4-20 and an RCBS ladle with it I run...

Yes but it's cheaper to buy a 3-4 die rifle or 4 die pistol set . There are a number of off menu rifle style pistol cartridge FCD dies available . I bought a 45-70 crimp die a while back $17 I think . I've a number of duplicate die sets and dies...

I'm going to go with pretty low pressures from a 308 in a 7.7 . The 7.7 is a 57 sister vs the 308 at 51 mm the bore off set of 312 vs 308 bullet doesn't hurt anything either .

There isn't any radiation free metal made any more that is for certain . There is a level of craftsmanship that is imparted to things made in the old ways . I will almost bet real money that a GI 1911 knocked out by Colt in 1925 and slapped in a...
