    Flounderman, that's the way I was taught many years ago. I load them that way in 45Colt, using 44Mag gas checks and 7 1/2 shot. These are deadly out to 25-35 feet. Naturally, the farther the shot, the broader the shot pattern. HV

    If you are wanting to swage the primer pockets, I'd highly suggest the pocket swaging set from RCBS. The bench mounted priming tool won't stand up to the pressures your wanting.
