Our grandsons are 23 and 21. Their father(our son) and I gifted them handguns and although both are in school, one in chiropractic school the other is a senior in college, they are now beginning to get enthusiastic about shooting. They have asked...

The only time I have tried Starbucks coffee is when waiting in the mall while my wife shops. The only bright spot about this pandemic is no malls(no Starbucks). For years I brewed Community Dark Roast coffee at home. Someone recommended...

I do a plunk test whenever I set up for a new load or cartridge. I plan to do it for their guns also. Both if I can get hold of them even though they are both the same model. While I'm at it I'll also check my 9's out. Whenever I start loading...

I use this one: KMS Squared UFO 550 https://www.amazon.com/KMS-Squared-Reloading-Press-Light/dp/B06Y65MQ7N/?tag=taohr-20 I got it primarily because it mounts on the press rather than the tool head. Puts out a lot of light. I know because I...

Thanks! I sort of got tunnel vision and concentrated on overall length being dependent only on the bullet being used. I hope I can get a chance to chrono overall length's progressing from max to somewhat under max. Hopefully, one or more will...

Two of my favorite revolvers are .41's. The first is a S&W 657 w/6" barrel & full length under lug. The other is a Ruger stainless Bisley. I had a blued Bisley that a friend wanted so I sold it to him and bought the stainless gun.

Going back to earlier posts in this thread, I've got a 6 cavity H&G 50 mold. I much prefer to cast with the 4 cavity. I've got a couple of MP 6 & 8 cavity molds and they are a joy next to a 6 cavity iron mold. Even 50 years ago when I was in my...

I've got the Work Sharp with the Ken Onion name on it. Yes, I'm sure I paid more than some, but I am well satisfied with the results. Just to be accurate, I didn't pay the price shown on the Work Sharp site. I don't remember where I got it but it...

Beautiful guns. I have a Rossi in .357 Mag. I doubt that it looks as good as yours though. I bought the Browning B92 quite a few years ago for $325 when they were going for $500+. The seller had shot it with reloaded cast bullets that, I assume,...

I've got that mold and it casts great! The mold came up to temp easily on the hotplate and cast good boolits from the start. Just haven't had time to load any. Too many irons in the fire.

There was an interesting(to me) article in Guns magazine January '21 issue. Randy Garrett wrote the article on .44 Mag in lever actions. This was the first article that addressed the slow twist in most pistol cartridge lever actions. The article...

From what I can see here, it is the top of the line. At least what this company carries. Kind of hard to determine really. I'm not very knowledgeable about kitchen knives so someone else should answer your question. https://tinyurl.com/y2yj8z7y

I guess "chef's" don't use butcher knives. Not sophisticated enough. The closest thing I have is a knife my dad made more than 50 years ago from an industrial band saw blade. Not fancy but if I ever get it sharp, it stays that way.
