It probably won't change the statistics but the above quote was from 2015. I turned 78 last week. Lots of changes in 5 years both here and to me.

I "had" one of those. Bought it used from some dealer in Philadelphia. Cost $195 +shipping. Some idiot had stored it in a leather holster and it had rusted the barrel and cylinder. I tried shooting it and almost destroyed my middle finger with...

Based on responses and looking at other sites, I think I'll pass. In my OP, I mentioned the manuals I have on the shelf. I refer to them all the time. Lyman molds don't get much respect here, at least the recent ones, but I do like their manuals....

I don't shoot my .348 much but I've got a Mountain Mold 250 gr. I don't know if the previous owner shot any jacketed bullets or not. I've never shot anything but cast. Hornady can pound sand or change their mind if enough make them aware.

I realize that this may not fit the description "Reloading Equipment" but I wasn't sure where to put the question. I prefer to use reliable sources for my load information. I have several published manuals including all the Lyman Cast Bullet...

I don't really save the magazines but I do let them pile up for a couple or three years. Right now my intention is to contact a nearby veterans home and see if they will take them. I have been told that the residents do enjoy them. Not sure what...

Absolutely! The only thing that holds me back is my age. I would hate to authorize him to customize a pistol and the lead time extend beyond my lead time. Although one of the sons would be the recipient, so nothing would be wasted. I've even...

Well! That put paid to my opinion. I was tempted but I'm saving my 2 copies for my sons if they take up casting. I got my first copy before Veral went to prison. The second copy I bought from his wife to help her thru a tough stretch. Can't...

I hesitated to post this because it opens me up to scorn and ridicule, but here goes. The latest issue of American Handgunner was delivered a few days ago. I usually go front to back to see what might be interesting before I stop to read any...

That seems to be the most likely cause. I didn't notice any extra effort required to seat the primer but I could have completely missed it when the darn thing went off. I think I've got some IMI brass in 7.62mm but it is stamped IMI. I've...

The primer that fired had an imprint of what looked like the point of the anvil pushed out. The anvil seemed to be set further into the cup than normal. Don't know if that happened when it fired or not. I have a wet tumbler but have not used it...

Was loading .45ACP on the Dillon 550 yesterday. I had completed about 130 rounds when a primer went off when seating. After checking to be sure I hadn't embarrassed myself, I checked the case in station 1. I expected to find 2 primers, one in the...

I have purchased several used die sets with steel size dies for revolver cartridges. I have a few custom revolvers with tight chambers. I found in one case that carbide die oversized the brass and led to short life of the brass. Another revolver...

For my first air gun I got a Weihrauch HW95 package(w/scope). The only drawback is that I failed to recognize that it took a bit more effort to cock it. After a few sessions close together, I ended up with "Weihrauch elbow". After that healed, I...

Still haven't received the part I need for the small primer setup so I tried the JMorris solution. Worked like a charm. Switching back to small primers won't be a big deal now.

Our neighborhood is overrun with squirrels. They have chewed the plastic tops on my stepladders hanging on the back of the shop. They chewed the back corners of the shop(rough sawn cedar). I had about a half dozen 1.5# lead ingots holding a piece...
