Site is up to old tricks. Quoted my post in notifying email but quotes Minerat in the post above. I only used the crimp groove to nose measurement per the OP. I assume that you would have to get OAL from 2 dogs.

Just to stay on topic, I don't care for Powder Valley's new web site either. But like some others have mentioned, there are many sites that are cumbersome, confusing and probably some other things that begin with "c". I was on such a site today...

I would feel more comfortable if someone would either point out an error in my last post or confirm its' accuracy. I sometimes can't see the forest for the trees. Granted there is very little room at the end of the cylinder. Close to max loads...

OK! Lets start over. I went back and measured both the S&W 657 and the Ruger Stainless Blackhawk. I will just call each of them 1.672"(the Smith varied .002 when rotated). I then measured a new Starline .41 Mag case. OAL=1.280" Rim=.050" ...

Check S&S here. You might get lucky and find both old and new Lee dippers for less than retail for just the new . Making your own is a good alternative.

I just checked Graf's powder and found that hazmat is only $10 per order. When did that change? I seem to remember that it was $30+ at one time. If I had known that, it might have changed who I ordered from.

Not really. It is more expensive than most smokeless powder. I could have paid less per pound from other suppliers but would probably have broken even after haz mat and shipping. I try to buy from Brownell's when I can and it isn't too much more....

How would an M die work better than the NOE expander plugs? At least the NOE expanders are available in several related sizes.

59,000 miles is good. I've never had original equipment tires last as much as 50,000 miles. Replacements do much better. I sold the 1996 Avalon at 195,000 miles with the original brake pads. Not sure why they lasted so long. Replaced the pads...
