Thanks for all the assistance. I removed the First Station(size) die and disassembled it according to the manual. It was a little grungy. I put a very slight radius on the pin. While doing this I noticed that the pin was slightly bent. Almost...

I have yet to experience bouncing primers from the 550. If it gets about half full, I empty it. I admit most of my loading is with small primers. I've also never had the trap door hang up. It may be that I don't race when loading. I don't...

Jack Huntington converted an extra .45 ACP cylinder for the FA 83 into .45 Win Mag. To my untrained brain that only required reaming a little deeper. The cylinder was already matched to the FA.

I'm still using my PAST gloves but only when I shoot heavy recoiling single actions and I don't do that much any more. A while back I bought a pair of these from Duluth Trading(They send me an email with specials every so often):...

I've got an extra cylinder for the FA 83 in 45 Win Mag. I bought a couple of hundred brass from Starline. Haven't felt the urge to follow up with loads. I won't go into how I happened to end up with this cylinder.

For the last few days I've been loading 9mm for the grandsons. I usually just load for an hour or so at a time so I don't get tired, distracted, etc. Today I spent some time inspecting the loaded rounds. Ran across a strange head stamp. At the...

The first gun I ever bought with my own money from delivering papers was back in about 1956 or 57. It was an Ithaca Model 37, 16 Ga. I think I paid $55 for it. I don't remember how I let it get away from me but I've regretted it ever since.

The NOE .311-180 FN K-31 mold is a gas check. I found another NOE mold marked .311-195 FN. This mold is a 2 cavity GC with multiple small lube grooves. I don't remember anything about it. Could be a Loverin(?). The grooves are not like the TL...

I'll be going out to the shop sometime this afternoon and I'll check the mold. If it is a gas check mold, I'll be glad to drop some when I have time. Time is something that is in short supply right now. At my age, 24 hours goes by faster than I...

When I retired I bought 5 quart cans of desiccant. We shipped it with certain apparatus that required extreme dryness. It was the type that indicated usage by turning pink. That was almost 15 years ago and I'm still using it. I also have a big...

I've got a drawer full of taps and wrenches that were in a roll around tool box that I bought as excess when I was working. Now I have a few more that I got to fill gaps when I had a need. One thing I have is a set of Greenlee pipe taps that I got...

I've got a NOE .311-180 FN K-31. That is the exact marking on the mold. I don't remember how long I've had it and it is not showing in the list on the NOE site. Maybe it didn't sell well and the mold you are looking for supplanted it. I have...

I confess that I'm a hoarder. Although my compulsion extends beyond ammunition and components, those are the things I take most comfort from. In addition to over 2 tons of lead in various alloys(mostly COWW & SOWW) I've got enough powder, primers,...

It took awhile but I finally managed to empty 2 metal gallon solvent cans. Before this I used HDPE for Ed's Red and similar cleaners. One lasted for at least 3 years without problem.

I store solvents(and other stuff) in glass containers and use at least 2 thicknesses of aluminum foil, pressed to conform to the threads to protect the gasket. Of course, these bottles are not subjected to rough handling but the foil protects the...

I run it on Windows 10 too but on Excel. My version of Excel is 2003 so I would think that it would run on your spreadsheet. You might try OpenOffice. Most of the free programs are compatible, or so I've been told. Hopefully, someone more...
