alamogunr replied to a thread MP Molds..... in Cast Boolits
I've got several MP molds and they are excellent. But I've got several NOE molds in aluminum and I'm sure not going to get rid of them. I've only got one Accurate mold but, as of now, there will be more to come. The OP brings up a good point. ...

My size estimate was off but it still comes up very heavy. That 1" steel reinforcement underneath ain't light. I hope your plywood shelf is up to holding all those lead ingots. You could always reinforce with a short 2X4 that fit between the...

Sorry for another hijack! About 50+ years ago we lived in central Michigan. There was a strike by the communications union that went on for about 2 months. Sometime during that time someone(?) cut the underground telephone cables that our service...

We had one similar to that at work. Somehow it disappeared about 2-3 years before I retired. It was about the same length but about half again as wide. It had the largest vise I had ever seen mounted on it. I think it came from a plant in...

That is about as accurate a recipe as you will find. I corresponded with Molly(Ken Mollohan) 2-3 years before he passed away and he gave me a similar recipe. As a humorous aside, he recommended that I contact one of the makers of micro wax and...

OK! I agree to a point. I too, have all the guns I am likely to own although I am still tempted at times. Keep in mind that the publishers of the gun mags are probably fully aware that we are not their main audience. Without information on new...

I've only seen one reference to what I assume was Precision Shooting. No bad mouthing of it. Both it and The Accurate Rifle went out of business a few years ago. I really enjoyed them even though I was not into bench resting or long range. I assume...

I've got to get the oven down and access the fan. Haven't a clue how to get at it yet. They don't put these things together so they can be serviced. Considering the price, that's understandable.

Well! I guess I lied. I'm still here. One poster( sharps4590) mentioned still taking American Rifleman. If ever there was a magazine that was a disappointment, it is American Rifleman. When I was a high school kid, I saved up enough to join NRA...

I don't know if all computers do this but if you put your cursor on the word(s), and right click, you can add HandLoader to your dictionary. I've got my settings to only indicate when it thinks that I've misspelled a word or words, not change it.

I would advise doing as Outpost 75 advised and contact: https://lsstuff.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=9 Over 13 years ago, I bought a pail of Alox 350 and a pail of Alox 606-55. I know it was over 13 years ago because I...

Thanks! I bought it used(barely) on whim several years ago. I've never used it since I got a MP H&G68 shortly after and have used it exclusively for a .45 SWC. I really need to try it out. Not sure I will like the clamshell handles. Will Lee...

Thank you! The oven I plan to use has the convection feature and that had not crossed my mind. We bought a new toaster oven a couple of months ago and this one is the older one that I took to the shop to replace an even older one.

I'm finally ready to try powder coat. I even bought a 2nd PID so I wouldn't have to keep moving the one I use on my bottom pour pot. BUT, Where do I place the probe so that it doesn't give bad readings?
