I have a Clement Custom .45 Colt revolver. Cartridges loaded using a carbide die and .452 sized boolits would not chamber fully. Using the steel die and same boolits all cartridges would chamber. I only use the steel size dies on reloads intended...

I too started looking for steel sizing dies after posting problems chambering .45 Colt in custom revolver cylinders. I don't remember all who posted but most suggested steel size dies. I've acquired steel dies for almost all my revolver...

I got one last week that I answered but hardly listened to until he said if I didn't respond that a warrant for my arrest would be issued. I never did figure out what I was supposed to do. I guess, since I never said a word, there was no way to...

I've got some CCI 350 primers but so far I have had good results using Win Large Pistol primers with Lloyd's "pop gun" loads. Nowadays I can't handle the full power loads. I may fire one or two occasionally to remind myself that I need to go back...

That is the chart I was referring to in Post #21. I am not computer literate enough to get it to post.

I don't know of I ever noticed the primer size for the .475L, so have used Large Pistol Primers. Since I have only loaded light to mid-range loads I doubt that it made any difference. I was just looking at the Starline site and they specify Large...

My shop, mostly occupied by casting and reloading, is air conditioned & heated. Rust is not a big problem even here in hot and humid W. TN. Even so, I put those little desiccant capsules/bags that are packed with prescription drugs in just about...

I have a chart that I saved several years ago that compares both old and new dippers by their volume in cc. I have no idea how to post it. I have tried attaching the document to an email to a 2nd email address and although it shows an attachment,...

I was curious since I had never heard of this press. Found a YouTube video. Interesting if you can get by the inane comments by the fellow that put it up. He took several minutes just to unwrap the press. ...

It's obvious to me that the two of you were typing your posts at the same time. Very interesting! Lots of good information in both posts and very little overlap. I don't use .357 mag loads in my Model 19 so I'm not particularly concerned except...

I haven't looked at Brownell's screwdrivers lately, but as I recall they had basic sets and "fill-in" sets available as well as sets specific to particular firearms. I understand where you are coming from. I couldn't afford a lot of things until...

The best decision I ever made about gun accessories was buying the Brownell's set. I haven't used every bit in the set and it can take a few extra seconds to make sure that you pick a bit the fits exactly, but it is well worth the time and the...

I don't have a problem with them yet. My wife does but the caps our pharmacy uses are reversible and we only have to turn the cap over to screw it on the bottle. It seems that they always put the cap on the bottle in the secure configuration when...

Good information to know. I've got the SAECO #457 which is the same boolit except bevel base. I prefer plain base but bought this mold 2nd hand but almost unused. If I ever have trouble, I'll send it to Erik at Hollow Point Mold Service and have...

I've got two Mitutoyo 6" dial calipers. I ended up with them when I retired. Everyone at work wanted digital readout(the "in" thing) so these just went into the excess box. I have a B&S micrometer and a Shure Tumico with the Property of US Gov...

A good while back Ben posted a photo of his solution to sizer die & top punch storage. I don't have a link but someone may remember it. I've been meaning to try his pull out tray but as usual I haven't gotten a round tuit.

I just found this thread and would like to get in. It looks like my only option for my .25-06 is: 3 cavity cramer HP's on two cavity brass blocks Any chance you can add me for one mold at .260 dia.? alamogunrATcharterDOTnet

I'll be watching this thread closely. I have an Eddystone 1917 and the S/N indicates 1918 manufacture. I don't plan to convert it to anything beyond .30-06 with cast. Actually, that is a misleading statement. It will remain a .30-06.
