Looks interesting. Might try one set to see how it works out on the turret. Set screws are a pain in a turret.

I hit the WW circuit pretty hard for a few years and when zinc and steel started to be a real problem, I decided I had enough lead to last me into the hereafter. My activity has slowed down enough the last few years that it may last someone else...

This reminds me of the time I went to a tire dealer looking for WW. I had gotten weights there several times and most of the shop guys knew me by sight. The boss was gone so they told me to go back to the shop and get what I wanted from the scrap...

There should be some way to update the poll. I posted that I was 73 when I voted into the 71-75 category. I'm now 77 and I'm sure there are a lot of others that have jumped to a different slot. Hopefully, enough young casters have come along to...

I would have to say the Lyman Cast Bullet Manuals, #1 thru #4 and the reloading manuals #47, #49 and #50. I've got several others including the Lee #2 and the latest Western Powders manual that includes Accurate Powders.

I guess if there is one advantage to starting this hobby later in life it is keeping your hearing. It didn't take me long to get muffs when I started shooting center fire handguns. Because I was cheap and wanted to spend on guns, I got some...

I'm not familiar with Larry Gibson's post. Could you post a link? I've bookmarked these two threads, both of which are very advanced for me and I doubt that I'll ever get to the level of expertise that they exhibit. Once you get into the Swede...

After my semi-rant above, I need to back up a bit. I just received the Blue Press in the mail. In it there is a followup article to the article in the previous issue that essentially said that .45ACP was finished. This month there are several...

I bought a Chapman set in a yellow box and keep it in my range bag. I will probably never lean on it since, at the range, I don't have anything to restrain whatever I am working on. That keeps me from breaking any bits in that set. You learn in a...

Many years ago a friend and I went halves on a 550B w/three complete caliber conversions. He did the ordering since he had the large shop in which to set it up. Three or four years ago I bought out his half because I had built a small shop and he...

I don't have a lot of wrench type tools but I still have the first set of metric combination wrenches I bought so I could do minor repairs on my first new car. It was a 1965 VW bug and I was just out of college. The wrench set was Proto 10mm to 19...

I finally got around to checking the new magazines in the Para's. I only checked for spring pressure to lock the slide on an empty mag. The two CDNN mags for the P12 fit and would lock the slide back when empty. Same for the CDNN mags for the...

I've never shot very much w/o protection. Years ago I purchased Peltor muffs. They seemed to work OK so I bought 2 additional pair so I would have some for family. A couple of times I needed at least one more pair. The Peltor muffs I bought...

Larry, I had that problem a couple of weeks ago. I finally traced it down to not applying the taper crimp enough to completely remove the flare. Didn't miss it much and the failure was only occasional. It was in the P12.

I was going thru some "stuff" and found these I had forgotten about. I traded the Beretta 96 at least 15 years ago. These have been in the safe. I have the following Beretta 96 magazines for .40 S&W. 1. Two Beretta(?) mags: Plastic pouch...

I have a P12, a P13 and a Tac-Four. The P13 and the Tac-Four use the same mag. Sounds like I should place an order. I've never ordered from CDNN before. Does it take long to get them? BTW, all three guns were made in Canada before the move to...

Glad I found this thread. I just deleted about 100 PM's. Probably in a month or two, I'll have saved the ones I don't want to lose and have them on my hard drive. It won't be the end of the world if the hard drive dies.
