I grew up in the Southern Baptist Church, then Indepentant Baptist, then AG. I agree with you about divorced people not being able to hold office in the AG church. I believe the scripture that they took that from, be the husband of but one wife...

Why is it that some topics (lever guns, military guns, etc) only list 30 or so of the threads and others still have a hundred or more pages? Am I doing something wrong, is there a way to see the older threads on these?

I have to agree, but eyes do get old and I have a 308 MX that I will probably scope at some point, may even scope the stainless 45/70 at some point too.

I would imagine the state to state ftf law is ignored pretty regular too, seems like unless caught in the act it would be tough to prove.

Here is a question. I happen to know several guys that get their deer, elk or antelope most every year for the last 40 or more years, and do it with 1, 2 or 3 shots a year. My wifes uncle bought his 270 around 65 or so, he also bought some powder...

The law is asinine as far as I am concerned. if ftf is legal in one state, then the buyer moves to another state and decides to sell , then is sold again, and again in several different states, what does the law accomplish??

Iirc, there is something like 9 states that treat a muzzle loader the same as a firearm, at least as far as having one mailed to your door. I would assume there are going to be several states that define silencers, suppressors, whatever in a way...

If a guy flys up here and brings his hand gun, would it be legal for me to buy it from him? I assume it would be. By your example, why should you only be concerned about hand guns?

I assume (could very well be wrong) if a seller steps across the state line and sells a person a handgun in a ftf deal, at least the buyer would be legal with this goofy law.

Several thoughts come to mind here. If you have ever known any poachers, you will know for a fact, that a 22 rimfire will drop a deer in it's tracks consistently. Those perfect site pictures eludes us in the daylight hours, so you do not see too...
