No idea what it is but I like it. 58 caliber is great for hunting just about everything.

I have a 45acp barrel on a Savage action. I shoot it suppressed. Sounds like a 22 short but rings steel like a champ.

I don’t have time to hunt them so I have to rely on my buddies to supply meat. I make summer sausage and smoked hams out of it. Everyone that has tried it seems to like it.

I have read that about the Lane Suppressor company before. I "need" to get a 338 can maybe I'll look into their offerings a little more Diameter is your friend with sub sonic if you are body shooting.

I think Lane rates that can for 458 win mag, if thatís the case thatís what I would build. You can load it sub sonic with trailboss pretty easy. If itís for hunting I would go with as large of a bullet diameter as you can and not rely on expansion...

My 22/250 had a 1:7 twist I had the barrel made for shooting heavies. I also killed a couple antelope with 80gr Amax from that rifle. I recently sold the barrel when I had a 6/250AI built. I'll get back around to a fast test 22/250AI for hunting...

I have used the 62gr TTSX from a 22-250 at about 3600fps on antelope with excellent results out to 257 yards. This year my 25/06AI pushing the 100gr tsx at about 3500fps killed 2 deer and 1 antelope buck from 30 yards to a bit over 410 yards. I...

Aim surplus recently had LPK with their modular triggers for a fairly reasonable price. I have never used their triggers so I can't recommend them but they have to be better than milspec. What do you want to do with said AR? I have a...

I have a few thousand rounds through my 9mm mags mostly suppressed with cast bullets from an ar carbine. How is the Ruger worse than that? Looks like mag disassembly has been covered pretty well.

For me adding farm raised, hormone infused meat to my pure organic meat defeats the purpose of killing my own groceries. If you want to add fat by all means go for it. But try olive oil mixed in and you might change your mind. I had a bad...

Straight up venison. Most of the meals people use ground meat for don't require a fat anyways. If you want to make burger patties out of it I'd suggest adding a little olive oil to the lean game meat first before forming the patties, or mix it...

I couldn’t afford to pay someone to butcher all the animals I kill so it’s a family affair. I cut, my 4 year old runs the grinder, my wife packages and vac seals. We pressure can a lot of it. We make all our own sausage, venison bacon, cured hams...

Straight wall 22 hornet is called a 270 Ren. I don't think you would get it up to 30 caliber. I think you are thinking of the 218 bee necked up which is a 32/20 and far from new.

If you need the speed of a side focus over the ocular focus than it's not a waste. I don't need the speed with my 10x because it's mostly for hunting and blasting known distance steel.

Make sure the reticle matches the adjustment. Mil/mil or moa/moa. They offer I think a MOA/mil combo and that's going to be a head ache trying to learn. I prefer mil over moa anymore but both are great as long as the reticle and turret match. ...
