Were you patterning your barrels on a larger target or just shooting at a 10" target? I have been playing with a 10 pellet load in various shotguns with various barrel lengths and chokes. My over under with a full choke is keeping all or almost...

There has been some chatter on various forums about the high velocity buckshot loads on page 35 in the IMR manual. http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/FIREARMS/imr_reloading.pdf I had all the components on hand except for the buffer. I did a...

I'd powder coat and shoot without a gas check if it were me. My cans took to long to get and cost to much money to let a little piece of metal that is useless on a sub sonic round ruin it.

There is a 12 pellet load in the Lyman manual for federal gold metal hulls and a WAA12R wad with 34.0gr of bluedot. It does fit I just loaded one but the hull is dimpled. I pulled it apart and cut the petals off and it fits allot better. I'll...

So does the exact buffer matter? It says BP SDC in that load data....would BPI original or #47 work? I'd like to try a high velocity load to see how my shotguns like it and maybe use it for coyotes and antelope.

    Can you get 12 in a 2 3/4" hull? I have a 10 pellet load and it's a full load.
