I also would recommend the Lee 309113F. A light, gas check boolit great for plinking and doesn't send much lead downrange. I shot it for a couple years about 10 years ago for fun- think I loaded it over 5744 and dacron. I stopped using it because I...

I've not seen a fermented pickle recipe with added vinegar. I guess that small amt isn't enough to kill the lactobacilli. I've just seen salt water fermented. They are sour, tho.

I agree with both of you about "what goes around comes around" but I have a side business baking and selling cheese straws. Started it when I retired. All of her friends know this. She is buying cheese straws and wanted scones too.

Looks tasty! I have a similar recipe that I use dried cranberries. Mine doesn't have egg tho. If you don't mind me asking, how much did they cost. A friend of my wife wants me to make her some. She says she will pay me but I don't know what to...

+1 for a 6" Smith 686.bought mine used several years ago. Don't remember exactiy what I paid (400$?). Doug Guy did the cylinders (prob wasn't necessary, but made me feel better) and all it's ever seen is cast. Shoots great. Thought it was leading...

I have a late '90's large frame 45 Colt Ruger 7.5" Bisley Blackhawk that I love because, even tho I have small hands, with that longer grip, I feel like I can get all my fingers on it, and it makes me feel like I have much more control of the gun....

T-Bird replied to a thread Fermented pickles in Cookin' Recipe's
I've done it- last year and the year before.. It worked. I added red pepper flakes, dill, garlic, mustard seed. I used the long cucumbers that you buy at the store and took the time to pick the firmest ones. Grew my own last rear and they weren't as...

T-Bird replied to a thread Apricot Jam in Cookin' Recipe's
I made pepper jelly yesterday, second batch. This is my first year to make jelly. Did you "can" yours, or just place it in clean hot jars? I think if they're canned and the lid seals, they are good and won't make you sick. For that matter, as long...
