I bought the Lee 10 pounder 35 years ago. Wore it out, bought a new one, rebuilt the old one, gave the newer one to a good friend. The only modification I recommend is the installation of a small metal shelf bracket under the pot. Now the pot holds...

Ground walnut hulls, always seem to have plenty of that on hand. Makes a good carbon layer on top of the melt and spoons out quite well.

Well, it can be done but why? Yes, heavier cup, yes I have seen reports that the priming compound/burn rate is similar. But, that was for one manufacturer so not the same. I did read of a guy who accidentally loaded small pistol primers in...

My first pistol was a S&W 459, first mold was/is the Lee 356-125 2R. As cast it drops .358 and worked well in the S&W 459 and later a S&W M13. I have cast so many with that mold that I have rebuilt it twice having cast over 750K over 35 years. Over...

For cast I use the Lee 312-185R or 314-299 by Lyman sized .313 or .314. You can find plenty of load data on here with cast bullets in the 7.62X54 case, 1800 fps is fun to shoot all day long, enjoy!

When I read the title 'which one' my first response was (smartazz, of course) the one in my hand. Then I read the entire thread. I observed images of several 'styles' of knives I have used and enjoy. One was a simple blade I had butchered many...

I built an AR Pistol for 300 BO with a 10" barrel. Subsonic loads are cool using the Lee 309-230 5R, for Supers I have a Lee C309-150 RF, and an NOE C309-150 3R. The 300 BO is a fun shooter and I did not experience too much muzzle flash. My 7.5"...
