Lava soap works also. The key is a rough wash rag and a 5 minute exposure to suds, with a 2 minute rinse. That seems to be what it takes to get the oils off of your skin.

If you are really challenged, use up a jar of pickles without tossing the liquid. Add boiled eggs and a couple of garlic cloves. Wait two or three weeks.

I would hunt with those. I would also label/index the cylinder with a pencil mark and shoot at 6 different spots on a target. That will make sure it isn't the gun.

I have been out of that trade for a long time but a piston pump should give you more flow if you plan on adding hydraulic accessories. If not leave it as is.

Since what you are describing was done with a 22 lr for decades the 9 should work also. You seem more familiar with revolvers. A K frame 38 should do as well with somewhat more versatility including the ability to use 200 gr bullets.

The conviction was for misdemeanor criminal activity. This 13 year old is being charged with a felony. If it were up to me the County Attorney would be looking for employment. One could argue that the finger was to be used for a sex act and it would...

I have owned a Taurus I thought I could not get any less expensive. It is long gone. 9mm auto that started to shoot loose after 1000 rds. My latest S&W is a used 69. No the lines on the shroud don't exactly match. It is an accurate, handy revolver...

I agree with the faster powders. I also think you can safely substitute data for a 200 gr bullet assuming it has a similar profile resulting in a similar bearing surface.

In most climates burning one therm of LP gas produces one gallon of water. The main function of the vent is to remove the water vapor. I read manufacturers instrucions for 30 years in the field as a gas technician. I never saw one for an unvented...

welcome to the Heretic's Club. I own a 7x57 M1 Garand that I had rebarreled a few years back. I opened my gasport up to the same diameter that is used on the 308 Win Garand Barrels and then installed an adjustable gas plug as well which I used to...

I had a 38 that grouped great with the 358311 158 gr rn. I had it antelope hunting one year when a dozen young sage hens ran in front of me. Unlike old boomers the 3-5 lb young ones are tasty so I pulled out the 38 and shot two, they lagged behind...

For my 9MM handguns I shoot the Lyman 356402 bullet under in any order, 4.1gr of 231, 4gr of Titegroup under a 125 gr FMJ. With the longer barrel (18.5") up here would a slower power be more useful? I am getting 1" groups with both loads out...
