I believe that Mike is only doing rechambers now. The problem is the old style bbl lugs. TC used to give them away but I am not up on the current situation.

I think it is a poor reflection on that manual. They are loaded way under SAAMI specs and the 327 Fed which is factory loaded to 42K CUP is loaded in that manual to 24K CUP. The only reason I can come up with is alloy stripping in the barrel....

I've been dancing around doing the same for my dad's old .32 Winnie model 94. The original barrel has about 80 years of bullets through it and she's not as accurate as she used to be and could use a reblue on her as well. The old girl could...

When I first started reloading for my Enfield #4, I was using .312" Hornady 100gr and 85gr hollowpoints over 11gr of Red Dot for plinking and rabbit loads, I learned that 1) those hollowpoint pistol bullets were very accurate out to 50 yards and...

I sold a truck a few years back and got constant calls from a call center in Florida that had a buyer for my truck. Always with a warning that this could be recorded. I started telling them to do it like we did last time, they send me a buyer and if...

I enjoy garlic. I am not much on Elephant garlic as I find it's flavor a little lacking but it's all good.

Living in Western MT where both species of bear are possible my "Kit guns" are only for short day trips in areas that bears are rare in. My 4" DW 357 gets some carry but it is the heaviest gun I like for these trips. On a motorcycle or 4 wheeler the...

For me the 32 candidates are 32 Long in a 4" S&W I frame from about 53 and a Ruger SSM 5 1/2" bbl. Both can be shot cheaper than a 22. 38's vary between a Model 15 a 4" and a Model 36 snubby. I have found a good shooting Kahr in 40 S&W that is the...

I have done it on a drill press after verifying minimal run out, absolutely level vise and drill press. As Beagle said your sizing die can make up for a lot.

Fresh I have used apple and alder, pecan, hickory and mesquite chips. I live in the pine forest and cook with it on an open grill in the woods but never considered using it at home.

http://www.lasc.us/Fryxell_Book_Appendix_A_MouldAge.htm Frixell says vent lines started with double cavities in the late 1940's. I have had a few that had no vent lines but never owned an Ideal with integral handles.

Use a sewer rod down through it from the roof. it can be a steel 1" tape with a roller or a 3/8-1/2" cable powered by electricity. See a good rental shop. First though, stand on your roof with a mirror and see if you can see all the way down it. If...

I have a 94 gr wadcutter and the Lee 90 gr tumble lube bullet. Both shoot great with 2.3 gr Red Dot. I cut that load back from 2.5 gr as it chronographed faster than I wanted to push things out of the Pre-Regulation Police I frame.

IMO, prolonged exposure to 80+ temps starts the process. Over that is like a steady climb with temps and time of exposure.

I still have some Bullseye in a steel 3 lb drum. It works fine. I have some much newer 4198 that doesn't. It all depends on storage. Really though, canister powders are a cheap as they ever have been.

For known charges I use a Lyman digital powder measure and verify every 10th on a balance beam scale. For working up loads I throw onto a balance beam scale. For progressive pistol loads I stop and verify every tenth load.
