I had a Kolar Komp barrel for a Remington 11/87 skeet Gun I had back in the 80’s . Kolar supposedly has revolutionized the compensator idea . In reality about all they did was move the porting slots to the sides instead of straight up and straight...

I realize what I’m about to say many will say is wrong to say . BUT I typically load AA and STS hulls the same be it 12 , 20 , 28 or 410 . Granted I’m not hot ridding any of them . I used to do the same thing thirty years ago with AA and Peters Blue...

The RCBS 32-170 mold I have is the second of them . The first one was used for 32 Special and 32-40 lever actions , when I sold the rifles I sold the molds I had for 32 cal . Later I acquired a schuetzen in 8.15x46R and I got another RCBS ....

I figure I’ll kill a deer with the two jacketed polymer tipped bullets I’ve tried in it then onward to cast . I might start with the RCBS 32-170 FM GC as I have that mold already on hand .

The last couple years we killed bear we’d skin them quarter them and a friend that’s a Charlottesville VA professional firefighter would take it to the firehouse and they’d make something along the lines of what you say , never tried what they made...

Life’s to short especially based on current events to be worrying over hulls . Just get a few boxes of WIN AA Skeet/trap loads or the same in REM STS shoot them up and load those . In my biased opinion either of those are probably the best all...

I’ve never done much suppressor stuff with handguns I have however done quite a bit with 30 cals both sonic and sub sonic . And I tried a bunch of 200-220 grain cast for sub sonic applications . In all the testing for both cast and jacketed I used...

I bought a 9.3x57 barreled action off a guy about six years ago . I had intentions of getting it stocked and of course using it . But one thing after another and I ended up selling it .

The 9.3x62 is a cartridge that has interested me for about 30 years and sadly I've never shot or obtained one . Few years back we got a NIB CZ550 FS in 9.3x62 for a customer . I have the same configuration in a 6.5x55 and wouldn't mind having a nice...

I’ve wanted a 6.5x54 MS for 30-40 years and I purchased my first last December a Model 1903 with a Pachmayer swing over side mount . I took it hunting first with the PPU 156 grain factory stuff and plunked a button buck at about 55 yards boom flop ....

I was paying $11 a bag for chilled shot in 1985 . Magnum was a dollar more back then so I only shot magnum in the 28 and 410 so I’d save a few dollars LOL’s!

USPS priority flat rate box is about the cheapest . Two bags in a medium box cost less than $14 . So that’s $20 for two bags of shot plus $14 or less for the postal charge which equates into $17 or less per bag which is less then half of the best...

We had a recent manufacture model 37 in 28 gauge in the shop . I was selling for a past prez of our gun club . That was a nice little gun and very light . I should’ve bought it for my wife but I messed around to long and we sold it online .

Gun looks to have a pretty decent piece of wood in the stock figure wise . And I think your deer barrel is the same length as my friends .

I’ve got a friend that dove hunts each year with a Ithaca 37 20 gauge with the I think it’s a 20” deer barrel . He usually does pretty well I might add well provided the birds are flying . I’d like one in a 16 myself .
