Have to disagree with that Waksupi, respectfully. I have 4 Taurus' all top quality -- granted newest one is 20 years old but mine are great. Best cast Bullet shooter I've got is a 6" barrel 357 model 66 (I think 66)... But still....WOW. I have...

In various asundry leveraction rifles I’ve used straight air cooled wheel weights and in some WW’s water quenched . When I cast slugs for shotguns they are typically half wheel weights and half pure lead . The two sizes of Buckshot I cast are...

I'm supposed to arrive home tomorrow around 1 or 2 PM I may very well scoop up some buckshot and slug handloads I have for some of my my 10 gauge doubles and try them in a new to me 10 gauge Parker EH . This "new to me" gun left the factory with 28"...

My buckshot and slug concoctions along with new to me rifles are what keep me deer hunting each season . Granted I don't exactly use buckshot in the way this fellow was describing .

Intresting that you mention that ! I had original test molds for the Ranch Dog 359-180GC and the 359-190GC . I used the 180 in a Marlin 336ER in 356 WIN to kill a deer and the 190 in a Marlin 336D 35 REM also to plunk a poor unsuspecting deer . I...

I suspect you're correct . As it seems to me when I got that mold I was told it had originated for the IHMSA guys to shoot in the 357 MAX much the way the Lyman 429649 mold I still have was brought out for the silhouette guys to use in the 44 MAG...

I "had" and the key word here is HAD a Lyman mold for a 357 cal GC SWC that dropped about 210-215 with WW alloy . I used it with very good luck in a Marlin 1894CB 24" in 357 MAG as well as a Dan Wesson 8" 357 MAX . I cannot remember the number of...

Just a heads up BPI has a sale on Bismuth at the moment . 7 pounds of #2's and 7 pounds of #4's shipped cost me $250 . Got some a couple years ago and 7.7 pounds of #1's cost me about $200 .

The 12 gauge if memort serves measured about .730" of the couple I measured , they'd go thru the full choke barrels easily but the 10 gauge slug seems to me was as you say and wouldn't go thru my full choke Parkers or the modified choke in the LC...

The larger diameter slug of the two molds you have I tried in an old MacFarlane double percussion 10 gauge we've had for years . The gun is pretty much like new even though its approx. 140-160 years old . I started loading with either 70 or 80...

Hey Duck! Yeah, simply because I want one, I know I'm crazy but the caliber intrigues me. Been trying for years for an Elk tag but no joy. Got 338's too but I had that Vangaurd just sitting there and had to do something with it. Got a 1,000 yard...
