Oh yeah, if I didn't have one from twenty-five years ago, a pawn shop on the north side of Longview, Texas, then I'd snatch it! You get it hollow pointed by Erik over at, you'll be one happy camper.

Oy vey. Best wishes in your search. I recently obtained a NEI .322 diameter 100 grain for the 6" barrel Colt and thought it was indeed a gift.

Can use them in the musketoon (.577 bore), the P53 (.580 bore) or the TC's (.582"). And yeah, diameter reduction will be by swaging. The older style minie molds with the larger diameter plugs (577611, 575213, 575602, 575494 and 57730) each have a...

Got a set of #575213 "new style" blocks, the design with a longer bearing length than the #575213 old style. The new style blocks typically have a smaller diameter (same diameter as Ohaus / RCBS) plug channel than the older Ideal / Lyman minie...

This is from chemical plant piping. That's an ingot that was dumped out of the mold too quick. Never had it PMI'd but thought I'd ask if anyone had run into such. It's very soft but also gives satisfactory performance for my needs. There are...

For the price of a new mold you could shop at Accurate (has some good percussion designs) or for that matter design your own and discuss with Tom there about making it. I generally use existing Ideal, Lyman or RCBS molds and size them to suit the...

Been tinkerin' with a M95 6.5x53R forever. Business and life keeps interfering with fun. So any how, I have a Green Mountain 6.5 barrel blank (19" long) and molds that now I'm probably never going to use. Gimme a yell if you want either or all.

Well, thinking about that, where's the envelope? Is loading a .458 barreled New Englander like a Whitworth pushing the envelope?

Being left eyed my left handed New Englanders are worth too much to me to blow them up! If .476/.480 molds were more prevalent I'd maybe go that route. But then again the barrel* as-is could just be rebored a few thousandths to use lubed lead...

Oh, by the way, with the twist these rifles have a longer boolit can work if you preserve case space to increase the velocity with a slower powder.
