Hi... Stopped at one of the local gun shops today to pick up a few things. While I was there, I checked the prices on various handgun powders. Almost all Alliant powders were $24.99/lb and IMR 4227 and H110 were $26.99/lb. I didn't buy any... I...

Lost my draft card along with my wallet back in the mid-70s. At 62 years old, I doubt the government cares.

No such thing as too much brass. Can always be sold or traded if you don't need all of it.

I just picked up that issue yesterday and am looking forward to reading that article. I recently purchased a Cimarron 1873 in .45Colt with an octagon barrel and need to find a starting point for handloading for it, if my standard .45Colt handload...

Hi... All my brass, rifle or handgun, goes in plastic containers. Mostly the big plastic Folger's coffee cans my wife used to buy. About any appropriately sized container gets used, though. I come home from the range all the brass from that trip...

So sorry to hear this. I know how you feel, having gone through it too many times myself. Best thing to do is find another pup. Not as a replacement but as a successor.

I will agree that you can spend a lot of money on a 1911 to customize it if you like, but my Springfield only required about $50 worth of polishing of the feed ramp and an 18lb recoil spring to become extremely reliable with 230gr Golden Saber...
