Hi... My son has a Rock Island 1911 in .45ACP. He really likes it...it is well made and quite accurate. I don't believe he has yet decided if it will be a carry gun, but he prefers 9mm and 10mm for his carry guns. I have shot his Rock Island...

I am going to follow this thread with interest because I am considering buying an automated powder dispenser. The comments will be useful data points towards my decision.

Hi... I understand perfectly... I have tried to shoot my son's LH rifles left-handed and it just feels wrong. Can't use my left eye to sight as I am irretrievably right eye dominant. I had a stress fracture in my right wrist years ago and...

Hi... No reason... he does it pretty regularly. This new to him M700 has a cheek piece so it's a bit more difficult to shoot it left-handed. Also...he stands to inherit a bunch of right-handed rifles and a fair number of them have cheek pieces as...

Hi... I have a large office type leather chair in my reloading room, I only use it when I am sorting brass or looking through my reloading manuals. I do at least 90% of my reloading standing up.
