Strangely there are a number of Italian companies that make first rate sausage gear. Trespade used to manufacture the cabelas line of meat grinders. I searched the Internet, found their North American distributor and investigated factory refurbs. ...

Late to this thread, but Mike Venturino is correct about the "goodness of fit" between 5744 and .30cal. rifles, metrics included. Furthermore, I've used it for cast bullet loads in all of my rifles (.243Win. - .45-70Gov't.) and have been extremely...

Does it have to be .223? A .222 Rem would fit your purpose real good.

I'm working my way through the rest of the RD 9mm-130s that are GC'd and PC'd, loading in Win 9mm cases (free range pickups that have been pin washed and inspected) and loading over 4.0/Universal (from Ranchdog's load notes). When that's finished...

I have one 6-cav Lee mould that I just drill straight thru and installed a bolt and locking nut. Its ugly and does not sit flat, but it works. The rest of my many Lee moulds a side D&T'd for a set screw - usually done before the first cast.

I'm sitting here looking at one that weighs 245 gr and is 0.434+. IIRC it was a group buy (Lee 6 cav) years ago to make seating depth for any of the 44s adjustable for different styles of feeding on several lever guns. It works. It is a very...

RUs, While wet lubes, e.g., saliva or 1 Ballistol : 6 water, are my favorites, there are occasions when a grease lube is the better choice. The one that works best for me is Stumpy's Moose Snot, which you can make at home. Depending on the BP...

I got out to the club range yesterday and fired three 5-shot groups at 100 yards; Cu GC, 1-ply Al GC, and 2-ply Al GC. They were all 1.5" and same point of impact. Nothing revealing here. Methinks more 1-ply testing is needed. They are simpler...
