I lost both my parents last year. They had a lot at the local cemetary. Put up a marker that looks like a little stone house. 8 spaces for urns, the urn is sealed into place with a stone cut from the marker. And a brass plaque that tells the tale. ...

I agree that hulls should have a notation if they are straight walled and tapered. Ideall both hulls and wads would be cross indexed. If you buy these hulls you want X or Y wads. This would make life a LOT easier for someone just getting started....

I'm using 3 grains of Red Dot but I like my loads on the milder side. I have loaded them up as far as 4.5 grains with no issues, good accuracy in carbines and a handi rifle stubb barrel I have.

I have 4 Remington "Hammer forge" blades that still have the forge marks on the blade surface. I did exactly what w5pv said, lopped off some 3.5 inches off the end. It originally had the old style butcher knife profile where the blade was twice...

ATF with very tight patch's, followed by dry, then a very wet one. Let it soak for 4-8 hours. Repeat. When you think it is getting close go shoot 20 rounds through it and clean again. I had a pair of mosin's with very dark bores, very little...

I agree with Reddog81. Stick with what JM Browning designed it for. There are extended barrels for 1911's. At one point I thought about a 12" barrel. But, you gain no sight distance. You can't put a front sight on the barrel and have it go...

I've used Crisco for this and it works fine, but after a few cylinders full you'll need to wipe the revolver down.

I wouldn't clean primed brass in a tumbler wet or dry, not worried about detonation worried about media left in a flash hole, water left in primer pocket, or primers ruined. I have tumbled loaded pistol ammo before in corn cob and noticed no bad...

My Hipoint Carbine in .45acp has a roughly 18" barrel and has no problem spitting 230 gr cast lead over 5 grains of Red Dot. Yet to have one stick, or cause problems. FYI I use .230 gr truncated cone at .452 and tend to shoot them as cast. ...

I used the lee 405 and powder coated it up to .459 and opened up the lee sixer to .459. It was a great combo. Using powder coat you should have no problems getting to the diameter you want Sent from my SM-T377V using Tapatalk

I'm not sure you will gain much velocity with a barrel over 18". 5.5 grs Win 231 and a 230 cast powder coated runs 830 fps out of 4.25" barrel and same load does 1000 fps out of 17.5" barrel, pretty quiet too.
