In an early catalog, the die parts were labeled in an illustration as parts "H" and "I" and the terms have been used ever since. if someone is selling new dies without the designation, I wouldn't be too concerned. Also RCBS lube-a-matic dies are...

I have done quite a bit of hunting in rough country with long barreled revolvers. My choice for carrying is accross the chest. My preference is my Bianchi nylon across the chest. It is quickly adjusted to go over light or heavy clothing in just a...

If the forum had a like button, I'd click it for this post. Dr Blackmon's dies are very well made, but as Brian said, a very different design than Brian's. I don't own any of either at this point, but I've used both and had excellent results.

random thoughts: If working for maximum consistency, then I run enough to get the dies to temp, (100 or so, depending on design) and then maintain pace until done, with the bullets used to warm things up being used for load development or fouling...

The RCBS 32--98 SWC did well in mine... As did the Lyman 311008. Actually, mine shot everything well as long as they were no smaller than .313... They were still accurate when smaller in diameter, but they leaded more the smaller they were.

Unfortunately I don't have a .225 RB mold. I've tried a few other things like airgun pellets, but nothing that really gave good results. The skirts tend to blow off the pellets leaving them with erratic flight and poor grouping. The little 25 grain...
