I’ve had a couple of their stocks before, both the Classic, for my scoped rifles and the Prairie Hunter for my iron sight rifles. The Prairie Hunter shape allowed me to cut off the raised cheek piece which allowed proper eye placement for iron...

Georgia has more than enough wild hogs and has an open season on them. The DNR just conducted a managed assault with the help of the feds on one of our WMA hunting areas. Over 400 were killed in a weeks time. ...

I too have had quite a few 93 and 95 Mausers in various configurations. My first cost me $15 back in 1967 or 68.i put $200 in that rifle and traded it for a new Rem 700 ADL in 6mm Rem, which I still have. Never could pass up a deal on Mausers, be it...

I picked up a 788 not too long ago in 7mm-08. The previous owner had cut the barrel to just over 16 inches and shortened the stock slightly for his daughter to hunt with. While the 7mm-08 is a great caliber, I’ve been toying with the idea of either...

Iíve been making Edís Red for many years and used to store it in two gallon gas can. Now I use old ring neck A&W root beer jugs. They are thick and heavy and easy to pore from when moving it to old Hoppes brown bottles. Naturally I relabel the jugs.

Inletting a pre-fit stock isn’t really hard. It’s just slow and tedious when done right. I’ve only done Mausers and always start with the bottom metal. It’s important to use some type of inletting dye and guide screws to keep things aligned. Get...
