Sounds like you want to keep the wife. Hmmm. Find some classy vintage tools and a furniture quality bench and put it in the Livingroom. Mine is front and center until the shop is finished but I don't have anyone second guessing my decorating..

2 Dr appointments on a cold rainy morning. I can't think of anything to look forward too with less zeal. Usually, these don't bother me, but today is somehow different. OH WELL !! The rain should end tomorrow and sunshine makes everything look...

I'm one of those folks that don't like boiled peanuts. I could starve to death while passing them out for free.

I'm still using the ones I picked up with BO on them. Got most of a truck bed full. I consider it rather appropriate in a private way..

My son bought a Savage 110 in 300 Win Mag. No matter how I loaded it the pain outweighed the pleasure. It went down the road with the dies, brass, and bullets. Gritting your teeth doesn't help the aim.

The weatherman said this morning that we are 12.3 ahead for the year. I think his bucket has a slow leak My gage showed 5+" several times after heavy rain storms. I've never seen this before.

Don't trust others equipment or promises to keep rust at bay. Neither will give anything but a false piece of mind. Use whatever rust preventative freely and make sure they are secure. You can even chain everything together. Don't even trust the...

I use cable service for TV, internet, and LL phone. Of the three, the phone has had the least problems. Even when the power was out over most of the city after Hugo, the phones worked.

Took my Sons picture standing next to one on the deck of the USS North Carolina. He's a tall muscular fellow but was dwarfed by that projectile. I seem to remember it weighing almost 3000 # and over 6' tall, with brass bands to engage the...

My Daughter left the profession after 8 years because all she got done was red tape and paperwork. All the teaching was being done by under educated (bus drivers) helpers following State and Fed mandated guidelines. No wonder our kids are so...

It seems that every project leads to another. Since there is always one more, I'll never finish. At my age and condition I refuse to start anything else.

I managed to get in an hour at Laguna Seca Range today between suppliers and UPS. Only about half full but more women shooters than I've seen in a long time. Had a nice chat with the couple next to me. 10g of N350 under the MP 432640 is a nice...

I've always found a hammer to be very effective on ticks and crawling bugs. You could then freeze the remains, as per instructions, to take care of the next generation. Fire also seems to work.

If you look close at the building the corners are trimmed with metal rather than wood and there is very little trim to catch fire. The eaves are only 4" and flashed with metal. Everything will get metal roofs as I get to them.
