The blank guns I've seen are regular ammo firing guns. There is blank powder, very fast and special blank crimp dies that close the case mouth with a 5 sided crimp.

The 429421 I have uses 3 ball end alignment pins. Take the mold off the handles and see how the pins fit. Sometimes the handles create the misalignment, sometimes that creates a wear pattern. The female alignment part is a hole in the mold block and...

I left the bottom ring for stability but added a wind screen. I bought a long handle 4 inch diameter stainless frying strainer from Smart and Final restaurant supply for $4 and roll the jackets against the side. As the lead melts out the jackets...

Petit Jean is available at Walmart here. But it has gotten so expensive that I only buy it as a treat every now and then. I normally use the Great Value Thick Cut. I really like Wright bacon, but the grease is more watery. It's also pretty...

I have the STM kit. I use Dawn to clean and rinse in Armor All to reduce tarnish and spotting. Dawn and Armor All will fight each other if combined. Running the media separator full of water gets the pins out faster.

I bought the Hitachi auto feed screwgun and 3,000 senco screws for my home and shop. Corners are tricky but in the field they work perfect and it's as fast as you can go. Turns a tedious job into a pleasure. Reviews of the Senco and Hitachi both...

I cross pined the 6 cavity MP Mold today. The closest standard pin size to what Miha uses is 3/32 so I drilled 4 holes and installed 4 roll pins. It's a deep hole for that size drill so I used cutting oil and cleared the bit of chips regularly...

I would suspect Lee sells more handles than RCBS and Lyman combined making Lee the standard. Especially since all the independent mold makers use them. RCBS and Lyman are right there with Kodak and IBM for loosing market share.

Mine are 7 inches so they don't stick above the rim of the pot too far. I angled the ends 7 degrees so the ingots would fall out. I used 2 inch angle and 2 inch flat strap both 1/8 thick and get 5 pound ingots. 1 inch angle if it's 1/8 thick is...
