Infrared thermometers are Not accurate on shiny surfaces. One member blackens areas of his molds to get an accurate read. Birchwood Casy has aluminum and brass black. NOE has a wired thermocouple system too.

John Malkovich in the movie RED2 was caught eating a 50 year old Moon Pie. He said it was OK because it was made before sell by dates. If the seal is intact the food does not go bad in a few years. 100 year old cans have been opened with the food...

Too bad. I take mine for walks in the woods and to the range. It's one of the most accurate guns I own. I traded out the Hogues for Pachmyer.

Photoshop is great but it's $120 a year. The scanners I had in the past came with their own software to reverse color or B&W negs. Silverfast is one that shipped free with the scanner.

Most of us use a covered hotplate to do that but if your kiln will work around 400F you could use it. One fellow here uses a precision lab hotplate.

The rubber "Combat" grips were a joke. Who on earth would put the seam where the 2 ends meet over the backstrap where it can pinch your palm every time you fire? Good Luck!

I own Hobart which is Miller. I don't think the current HF welders are enough cheaper to justify buying. I would want a few more rave reviews. I just finished rebuilding my chinese 14" carbide tooth metal chop saw because the countershaft...

When I had a Red Dot I bought too many 2032s on amazon cheap, because it was way too many and stashed them everywhere. The scope is gone but the batteries persist.

The last PID I wired was 18-250V AC or DC and likely a 12V buss. I second the idea that a 50 cycle fan is the delicate electronics that can't take 60 Hertz. LOL PIDs have their own built in power supply and are not usually affected by line...

Lyman shows Euro or Australian plugs for 230, you will probably have to buy one. RCBS used to ship 230V without a plug.

Airless is High Pressure, like 2500 psi. Very little overspray, it's a paint pump. I have a 3/4 HP Graco that I bought on sale at Home Depot for $300. You paint so fast it's over before you know it, painless. It's primarily for painting houses etc....

I've been shooting the HPs subsonic over 10g of N350 for about 1,000 fps and over 20g of 2400 for 1300+ fps in 4-6 inch revolvers. Accuracy is at least decent but I need to shoot more to see if it is exceptional.

My MP 432-640 preheated on a hotplate starts at 700F but I drop that 10-20 degrees as needed to keep the sprue freeze time from getting too long. 360 is going to need a little more heat. A slab of steel on the hotplate to warm those pins helps.
