VX-III, VX-3, or VX-3i ? Only one I can find on Midway is the VX-3i. What's the difference between them?

Back when I owned three Buckmarks, and was shooting IHMSA silhouette, my best ammo was Eley Target. I shot a good number of 60x60 scores with that ammo. Also, CCI std vel. shot pretty near as good.

I need a Large Case Slider for a Lee Pro 1000 press. When I bought the press it came set up for pistol so it had the small slider. I tried Lee and Titan, none listed. So if you have one to spare let me know. Paul in WNY

Count the clicks when you resight for another barrel and it will go back to almost the exact spot when you put it back. You might have to give it a couple of clicks to get it dead on. I had a .22mag barrel for it but sold it. I just couldn't figure...

Yes, I showed two groups in my earlier reply and it was from two different barrels....a 17hmr and a .22lr. It's a five minute job or less if you've done it a couple of times.

I've had Turnbull do two Pedersoli rifles and one Miroku/Winchester and they will now chamber anything and shoot as good, if not better than before. With the Miroku they lengthened the throat by about .250".....it was that short (SAAMI specs are...

I add beef steak fat (strip steak) and add it at 12-15% of the weight of the venison being ground. I quit add other stuff to it years ago when a butcher told me to try the strip steak fat instead. It makes the venison taste like ground filet.....the...

I have a CZ 455 American, a sporter weight barrel gun. It shoots beyond my expectations with both the .22lr and the 17hmr barrels. Here's a six shot group at 75yds with the 17hmr (had six shots left in the box), and a five shot .22lr group shot at...

I use them in my TC Encore 357max rifle. They are not safe in a tubular magazine. They are basically a pointed bullet with a blunt end. Not blunt enough for a tube magazine though.

I put a piece of inner tube over the nipple and cap when I'm ready to fire. I've never had a failure to fire and I've tested this by putting the gun outside all night in a pouring rain and firing it in the morning. Always worked for me. Cover the...

I had one on a Win 1886 in 45-70 and it worked great. Didn't even look too bad on the gun. Shot like a champ.

Unique always does that. However, as 475BH says, shoot em and see. If that makes you a bit uncomfortable, use a ball powder for very uniform charges. I've never owned a powder measure that dropped Unique spot on.

Not all kaboom’s are from weak receivers. Here is one on an 03A3 from 1943. Good points from both sides but it does happen to guns other than low# 03s. https://www.njgunforums.com/forum/index.php?/topic/32906-1903-remington-blow-up/ Paul in...

I agree Lloyd, I think the pic that shows the case head missing was taken from the front, the black was the split barrel. Who knows what did it in, I just though it would be interesting to share and think about. Paul in WNY
