Nice find! Highly collectible! Do not shoot, the full box in that condition would bring $75-100 at auction.

Totally agree that knowing the value, or knowing you need to learn it to avoid paying a fool's tax on your ignorance is the first step. Knowing what it will probably sell for, where that stands in relationship to what you are willing to spend...

I'm with the people that suggested not full enough. Water has to transfer shockwave and pressure to pumpkin, air space will allow for a "shock absorber" effect I would think. While hollow point might be more impressive I would think a flat point...

Something the bullet sizing advocates forget is that a ternary alloy Pb-Sb-Sn bullet will not emerge from the sizing die being the exact size of the hole through which it was forced, depending upon as-cast diameter, and the amount of reduction which...

My favored .44 bullet is the Accurate 43-230G. This is a double-crimp-groove design which lets you seat bullets out and crimp into the rear crimp groove of .44 Special brass, to increase powder capacity and OAL for using .44 Specials in your cowboy...

It should work fine. I have several Colt .38 Special revolvers which have .354" groove diameter and .358 cylinder throats. I shoot all manner or ordinary .38 Special ammo in them and they shoot fine. I also have a BSA Martini-Cadet in .38 Special...

I have one of the Hanned Precision SGB die for .22 LR as well as old home made ones which do the same thing for .32 S&W Long, .38 S&W and .38 Special LRN. Here is what a 158 LRN .38 Special flat-nose looks like after being trimmed to 1/4"...

I have two Ruger Vaqueros one .44-40, the other .44 Magnum, both have forcing cones so large that .45 Colts and ACPs fit, don't "spit" and shoot accurately down the .44 tubes if I swap cylinders from my NMBH .45 Convertible!

Back when I was regularly on RIBs we kept an M2HB forward, two M240s amidships and for OMG a Mk19 aft.

For many years I have used what the hillbillys around here call Confederate Army Lube, equal parts by melted volume of Goya manteca (salt free, filtered, refined lard) and beeswax. Works fine for muzzleloaders, BP cartridges and smokeless with...

Actually I would say the consensus is there will be some that bash Lee presses or any Lee equipment in most Forums. With as many or more who refuting those claims. I do not understand how it is that folks don't comparison shop. The used price is...

Bummer. I have had pretty good luck but then some items such as lubrisizers or those shot shell loaders are a bit more complex and less robust than what I have purchased. C Press or dies are mostly what I have bought for equipment. Less...

Chev.Wm. Thanks, it is reassuring to know that the aged brain cell SWAG wasn't so far off. Very enlightening. I am quite satisfied with my reworked/relined/restored Army & Navy C.S. .32 S&W Long, and have no need for anything in .327, but...

NOE clone of #314 is my "go-to" bullet for any .30 cal. or "near .30". The larger diameter forepart really helps in worn bores. I lube only and crimp on GC without sizing in a .315" die for my .303s, having honed a Lee .314" up to size. In...
