If the rifles must be bought cmp is not going to get them as it would require going through a importer. The SOKO ammo is all over the place so I assume that Centery after winning the bid and Obama pulling the papers Century at least got ammo and...

The 1000 rounds of SK standard plus I bought shot very well through my 513t I hesitated buying more as it was first time. When I went back the shop did not have any. For now CCI SV and Centerion target from the cmp will have to do until stock...

The options out there with adjustable combs and recoil pads was thin and expensive. I I bought and tried a few stocks and just did not like them. I will most likely figure out a way to out fit this stock with something or eventually come across a...

the model 60 has it beat by 2x on production numbers BUT for after market goodies.....hide your F'n wallet. I have owned many 10/22s over the past 30 years and basically wrote them off and stuck with my 60s. This rifle was one of those.... " I...

his goal is velocity for hunting his range will be aprox 25-40 yards on a small farm. Something i dod not think much of .... he was testing at 100 yards as we tend to have 100-200 yard fun matches and if he keeps shoooting the way he has been we...

OK so some one started asking me questions about 22lr ballistics...which I'm not really good at except general come ups. And what I know from shooting 1040-1070ish ammo through my rifles. So he has a nice cz and on no wind days I have seen him...

Some of the old timers at my club recommended a very thin coat of alox on the bullets. One old timer said just TL 20 or so cartridges it will be fine the LLA will not build up in the chamber and will coat the barrel well enough. As soon as the...

I really wanted a 24" or 27" long barrel to try and mimic the full size target rifles like the 513,40,52 and older anchutz. Cost was double the 20" barrel...itching to get it out. The cold is not to bad but the wind has not stopped for weeks!

I do a simple short range test I use 1" graph paper and take a few shots at a aiming point then see how much it moves. I switch my Lyman sight between a few rifles. My 513t runs about 7-9 clicks from 25-50 yards. I think my eyes have a larger...

There is no bulge I can see on the barrel. Its just a lead ring. Gun shot great up to about 130-50 rounds then started throwing shots. Its had a steady diet of aquila and some old rem kicking around. Cleaned it up. Can't "feel" anything with the...

The rifle has about 200 rounds. Bought a cheap bore scope that fits 22s. Soaked the bore with kroil and then passed a patch and jag through. It hung up at the ring and broke through the lead build up @ :49 What would be a likely cause? Approx 2" in...

I'm still looking for a stock. I'm tired of the tweener stocks. To big for kids to little for adults? Optics are clearly up to end use and expectations. I got from redfield match sights to the Mueller 8x32x40 side focus
