Are you sizing before powder coating? They are getting contaminated somewhere in your process by the looks of it.

Moonie replied to a thread Reloading 325 WSM in Cast Boolits
You can push them as fast as jacketed, the real question is how fast can you push them accurately. Lots of factors play into that. Hardness, size, concentricity, barrel twist and your attention to detail as can boolit design.

I like the 300gr Lee but have started casting the 350/325gr NOE boolit in 45 Colt and 460 S&W.

Assuming this is an AR pistol build a barrel that short might have some issues cycling due to the short dwell time. We have a 10.5" AR SBR that started off life as a pistol. Functions perfectly. The shorter the dwell time the more issues you can...

I like the 245B or 245BG for hunting however there can be feeding issues, I use the Lancer mags and have no issues with them.

I'm going to be honest about 2400, I've never used it before. For full power magnum loads (ruger only +P 45 Colt loads included) I've always used W296/H110 but I won a case of 2400 at an auction recently and I've been wanting to use it. I had...

I hope you figure this issue out, hopefully it is something loose. I have the Vortex Viper that appears to be what this scope was modeled after and I really enjoy it.

I loaded the Accurate Molds 245gr at 1,950fps in my 30-06 with 35gr H4895. It shot very well, and I'm sure would penetrate through about anything I'd want to shoot with it.

I load 9.5gr of AA#7 under a 155gr Mihec HP for my XD subcompact mod.2. I've also loaded this boolit over about 3.5gr of Clays for a very light recoiling load.

Aliant lists this load: 45 Colt 250 gr Speer LSWC Winchester 1.6 5.5 CCI 300 2400 15.4 972 I've seen +P (ruger only) loads up to 21.5gr (John Taffin load). I'm not sure what that Henry is rated for either but this would be over 30K...

Moonie replied to a thread black out mold? in Cast Boolits
If I only had 2 molds to choose from for the 300 BO for target shooting I'd choose the 6 cavity Lee 312-155gr and the ACE or NOE 230gr. For cast hunting I'd use the NOE 247gr or Accurate Molds 245gr.. I have the Lee 155gr, ACE 230gr and Accurate...

The early Vaquero's are indeed as strong as the NMBH but for standard pressure or a little above I'd use either the 6-8gr Unique under a standard weight boolit, or 2400 can do standard to +P and anywhere in between.
