I would see no need for it. Lile 1hole, I lube while sizing rifle cases but use Imperial sizing wax instead. For the pistol cases, some One-Shot makes sizing a bit easier on the Dillons.

Buy him a new Lee in exchange for his "defective" Dillon. After all he is your friend. But I would help him is the right thing to do. BUT NEVER SHOOT HIS RELOADS.....EVER!!!

I suspect that in the next ten years there will be many great deals on casting and reloading stuff. I know more people downsizing or stopping than those starting. I am one of those. Half the presses I used to have, half the guns, twice the...

If I had to use a straight walled cartridge, the .350 would be high on my list of possible choices. About the same trajectory as the .450, adequate bullet and energy for deer/bear, and less recoil. I am not sure if it will last so I would...

I have two and love them for target work and CAS. Really fast if you take out the disc and use it as a ghost sight. I would be worried about using one for hunting in the woods as they can snag and if bumped the wrong way will not be vertical.

I think like ReloaderFred. A visual method will not work for me. I use the Dillon powder check die and find it does a good job. $80 is cheap insurance IMHO. Not sure if it will work on other presses, but all I have are Dillons. The downside...

I stopped all my subscriptions except for the NRA Rifle magazine and I rarely read it. Any load data I need is from the manufacturers anyway. I went through a mental check list of guys I would trust on this forum and there are a number of...

Not sure why I am OK with the Dillon PM but it works well enough for me. But all I have ever loaded on the half dozen I have owned are pistol rounds. Mostly, Bullseye, HP38 and Clays powders. Normally get within .1 gr but, the occasional charge...

The one I owned had the neck reamer. I was shooting a .222 M700 Varmint HB with Weaver K12 scope and was getting 5/8-3/4" groups using the 50 gr Blitzking bullets. It was my first CF rifle...50 years ago...and the Lee made my first reloads. I was...

I have a lathe for making simple things in case I need something like a pin or a fitting and avoid a trip into town 25 miles away. Mostly a SHTF investment that comes in handy. I might have the skill to make a simple mold...but maybe not. ...

I had one in .222 many years ago. It is slow and I was not able to achieve any improvement in accuracy. YMMV

Another "strange one" is .22LR target ammunition. It's MV is below the transonic velocity for a reason. Good posts above.

Go to your skeet club and sell the shot. It is foolish (and not that easy) to melt it into an alloy. Rich above is to be heeded.

A bolt action .357 with 18” barrel. 5 shot DBM. Costing under $400. It should be available in .327 as well as 10 mm. I really like the .38/.357. It would be a great plinker, coyotes to 150 yards, and capable of close range deer harvesting. ...

But I suspect most of our heirs will have no idea what it is worth or how to sell it....LOL I built a bullet trap so I never have to worry again. If I can salvage half of my bullets every year, I have enough lead to produce 325,000 bullets. I...

But look at the fun you had! If by "all day" you mean 8 hours, you saved about $100 over buying smelted lead. $12.50 an hour is better than minimum wage and no idiots to deal with. I have the same pot as Land Owner and I like his set up. I...

Salvaging that powder is going to be quite a task. I have done it on a dozen or so cases at a time when I get poor crimps but cannot imagine breaking down say a case of loads. Likely about 18 gr in each , so well under a pound. I buy Promo for...

I would try the 125 and use a hard alloy. If it was too much, changing the bullet to a round nose with a smaller meplat would be my option if I had to use a .357. But the .22LR seems like a better fit.

RS is a wonderful resource. I have to agree with the poster who said it will work for 90% of our least in my case. I doubt your .45 will know the difference. If your bullets are running in a narrow weight range, I would not worry...

I "understand" the concept of eternity, but I really do not understand it. For example, is time eternal or just a dimension we do not understand? If it is eternal, did it have a start? In some ways, God is easier to understand. He just IS. He...
