Background info I don't have much experience with Lee Dies so I'm hoping members here can help me out... I am attempting to load for a P64 9x18 Makarov. I slugged the barrel @ .366". While waiting for a .367" sizer die to be made, I attempted...

I don't have loads for you as I never owned a 44, only .357 that I traded to a friend who couldn't take shotgun recoil after heart surgery.... but I do have some experience on others who have owned DE 44's...you need to get a firm grip on them......

Wayne, I do plan on running thru one of my Lyman lube sizers... I agree with you about them varying or being out of round... I was just trying to figure out if the bullet as cast would do for sizing without beagling the mold... I will...

I slugged my P64 9x18 Makarov and came up with .366... Now here is where I need your help... IIRC I should size the bullet .001 over than and should cast .001 over the sized diameter... so I'm looking at casting with a mold that drops .368... is...

GONRA was spot on with the flash hole size being the problem in depriming... I do not have a set of pin guages that big, but a 5/64 drill bit will closely fit a new starline 9/18 brass, but will not go thru the PPU... I knocked out the primers on...

They are for the 9x18 Makarov and are .364". I got them from a dealer at the gunshow who repackaged the bullets into bags of 250. I would be interested in hearing your thoughts on the PPU brass... about 1/3 of the rounds I fired showed a...
