I don't obsess over what I considered a very minor problem at worst. Since turning to wet tumbling with SS pins the problem doesn't exist, and my press stays clean.

I've had the same problem with plated (don't remember the brand) but a pass of the bullet through a sizing die before loading solved the problem. I guess all things aren't created equal.

Gloves are never necessary unless the unexpected happens. If one has time to think out everything beforehand, mistakes would be extremely rare. It's the off chance we encounter something unexpected that necessitates PPE. As long as we don't touch...

My method of concealment changes with the type of clothing. Winter clothes are purchased with CC in mind. Yes, you need to practice drawing with each different condition and be constantly aware that different clothes require different reactions.

They lost favor here because of the low production. Haven't seen one in years.

Spend the money on ammo and practice with the trigger you have. If it wins wars and keeps our troops safe, it's not that bad. The most expensive trigger available still needs practice to make you proficient. Unless the particular trigger is...

There was a time long ago when I worked 50-60 hr a week, raised 2 children and kept a house and home. There were no safe queens and every new aquisition was fired as soon as I could manage a trip to the range. Time has a way of changing habits. ...

The stigma in the media and the bad publicity of the VN era rifles caused me not to have one until a couple years ago. Then the prices were a problem until I decided to build one. My first was a 24" with a fixed stock and it really stooked my...

I ran out of "can do", way before the "around to it" list is done. In fact, it's growing every day. You folks make me feel old. O-H311, I am old.

Yes, that gown makes you look fat. You look as if you could use a very small laugh that won't hurt much. Glad ya got what was needed and hope it solves the problem.

A lady in a town near here bought a ticket and felt so sure of herself, she bought another the same day. Last night she won $1000 on the first and a million on the second. So don't put it off if ya feel lucky. I say that because I don't know...

It's good to know there is a name for what I have, but I've already forgotten what it is. For years I've said the brain is like a computer, and I have an old model. It has very limited ram memory and in order to remember anything new, I have to...

I've been sneered at all my life for recycling. I notice they take note of my targets when I leave with their unwanted brass. I guess their tighty whities get in a knot when I explain that it was my cast from free WWs, that shot those targets for...

I've worn coveralls or overalls off and on since the early 60s. She bought them for me as a Christmas gifts and insisted I wear them. After 54 years I know not to argue, especially over petty things. Besides I like wearing them.

The only problem I ever had with Hornady involved a deprime stim for 223. It got bent with a Berdan primed case and I called to get a replacement. I understand that everyone has a bad day, and try to be as polite as possible, but I didn't deserve...

I had most of an old shopping cart full with a window screen wired fast on top, till the squirrels found them. When I went to the garage to get some to crack, all I had left were hulls. The smart alecks ate the goodies through the cart wires.

It's been 54 years since we said I do. We've almost never been apart. We've been richer, poorer. sicker and well, but always a team. If we live that much longer it will always be She and I. My parents made 64 years together, and both died...
