I have both and I prefer the 7-30 Waters. I reload for over 50 calibers and I greatly dislike brass that is not properly head stamped. For brass I use Federal since that is the only one that is marked 7-30 Waters. Factory loaded is still...

They loaded and chambered once so the necks can't be vastly oversize. First I would measure the necks to see what you have. It almost sounds like you have expander ball adjusted to high into the neck?

I have done a total of one set. I did it on a Bridgeport with a boring head but they can be done on a lathe with a faceplate. The key is to determine what the space between the ring halves is when it is very lightly clamped on a 1" diameter. I...

As I CLEARLY stated when they suspect abuse. Check out any of the news reports when people are caught with large amounts over the daily limit. When that happens they tend to do a home freezer inspection.

Old blades were great, however, the new ones not so much. This applies for both the carbide tip blades and the bi-metal blades. By old I am referring to mid 80's or older. A simple spark test would be the first step.
