At WallyWorld this morning they had shelves stacked with CCI MiniMags at $7.47/100. Counter guy said they came in on Tuesday nights truck, and he's expecting more this week.

In one trip Friday, I got a bucket almost full of WWs and 2 lbs of dentist Xray lead. Since I already had to make the trip, even the gas was free. Kinda repays some of the empty trips I've made.

I'm a big fan of the Lyman 357627, (or NOE's version, the 360-225SWC) in the 357 mag or Max. It's accurate, and enables you to seat it out pretty far, filling long throats and giving additional powder space in the case.

I don't think so WR. It doesn't twist like the Boss style, to turn them on /off. My best guess from what I've found is that it's for a Savage 110 that doesn't utilize a barrel nut. But at this point, still a guess.

Every new gun I get, gets at least one box of factory first. I'm not going to have a problem and be told it was my reloads that were at fault. Sometimes it's the most expedient way to get brass, as in the first .41 that I purchased. In my...

Best provide some toys for those new sharp teeth. If not they'll find something on their own and it might be costly. My Son didn't listen to that advice and came home to find the corners chewed off the bathroom cabinets.

I have this same material in 1/4'' and 3/8'' that I use for under Lee slugs to gain crimp height. Works good for me. It is somewhat hard and does give some but not much.

I am thinking about giving F-class competition at my range a shot. It's fired only at 300yds, weekly. I love my 222 Rem rifle, it's accurate as all get out, but would I be handicapping myself by using it in competition at 300? I'm thinking wind...

At times the edit feature has strange quirks. Not able to go back and correct spelling or add to the middle of the text. A workaround is to use paragraph key. Add text or correct, then backspace the paragraph movement.

After all the experimenting with my A3, the old standby 16grns 2400 under a 314299 works the best in my rifle. How often is the first load you try the most accurate?! Lol I must say, I love the light "shove" recoil of this load. I can plink or...

Like OS OK, I store my powder in an old refrigerator from the 60s. It has a magnetic seal that offers little resistance to opening, and keeps temps even. Since there is no air circulation a couple moisture packs keep that stable also.

Just a FYI comment: According to Quickload, a 311291 boolit fired in a 24" barrel needs 9.0grns of Bullseye to reach 1417fps. It does so producing 17,774psi pressure. Considering the 30-40's max pressure is 47,000psi, it seems quite "do-able" with...
