Your bullets have to harden a little before sizing them. They are soft and very weak. The nose sides can swell from pressure put on the tip of the nose by the nose punch. That's mainly in luber/sizers, not so much in push through. I'm not talking...

Do you size with a Lyman sizer? Just for the heck of it, measure the drive band.

What's the diameter of the driving band? I suspect the crimp portion of the Die grabs the boolit's drive band, and pushes the boolit into the case.

Do not size your bullets directly out of the mold after they cool. They are still weak. Wait about a day. If you aren't letting them age for two weeks you're wasting your time. You have a 5.56 NATO chamber on that AR (believe me) and you need to...

In the top R hand pix, what am I seeing that sticks out from under the primer tray? It must be something you used to prop it for the pix. I'm interested, although I have no idea why. I already have 3 of them.

Rim diameter on the 9x23 is .394. The rim on a 38 Super with the old style semi-rimmed case is .406. The rim on the 40 S&W is .424. The rim on the 10mm is .425.. The difference between the 10mm and the 9x23 rims is .031 so you divide that by 2 to...

Because of the political stigma, as much as anything else I resisted ownership of an AR platform rifle Then in 2016 the prices dropped to the point I could no longer resist. Why did I wait so long???

I've been shooting for a lot of years and a lot of calibers. First let me say the U.S. major brands aren't the same brass cases they were way back. For that matter some of them don't even make their own brass. Okay I've never liked Remington...

As I stated about more and more newer 38 Super cases are rimless like the 9mm's.

Back in the early days when Tasco's were made in Japan, for the money, they were tough to beat!!! The new ones are kind of junky. Also in the early days Tasco has a scope mount with rings called the World Class scope mount and it's second to...

I don't have any 9x23 cases, but I'm sure you know that both the 9mm Luger and 9x23 have a fatter web area then a Super. the Super actually IS a straight case. When I made the 9x23 barrel for my Tokarev I used the 9x23 reamer and shoot only 38...

Most the 38 Super brass you buy today is the rimless stuff. Starline calls it Comp. I've also bought a lot of once fired 38 Super cases and the mixed brands are Aguila, AA, Sig, Jag, Federal, S&B, and another one that has some A's in the stamp. None...

I would only recommend ultrasonic for smaller batches. The rotary tumblers w/SS pins for large numbers, and vibrators for light duty. The cons are rinsing, dirty water disposal, and drying with ultrasonic and rotary, lead-laden dust from...

I take it you are using short lengths of copper wire. Any particular length, or random? Did you cut with side cutters leaving pinched ends? It sounds like something else I'll just simply have to try since I have what it takes. Necessity might be...

I'm sure you know you should use a 9mm/38super slide for them right? I've done all these years ago. Also you will have to change your 45acp ejector and the 9mm/38super also have a differenc slide stop. I've also done a 9x23 on Tokarev.

My first rifle (22LR 552 BDL) and shotgun (1100 BDL) were Remingtons but that was late 60s and everything has suffered since then. Glad I still have them since I couldn't afford to replace them. From top of the heap to bankruptcy is a big fall.
