More bean counters saving money letting you finish the mfg job. Expect it to get worse. How long before they start shipping kits for us to assemble, or maybe just the maching prints?

I once left my old pickup sitting for several weeks. When I next opened the door, a frightened mama squirrel ran up my right arm, across my back and left arm getting out of dodge. I fixed the hole in the floor that day. BTW I boxed the litter...

I've always equated the term elasticity of a boolit alloy with "spring back" when a boolit is sized, and not necessarily the malleability or toughness. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?68121-Did-some-experiments-on-sizer-size Some...

I suspect he is talking about Lee's 45 cal 252gr SWC https://leeprecision.com/mold-dc-452-252-swc.html I have that mold, it's one that I like for 45 Colt, as well as 45acp Revolvers.

I just finished writing the check for my two yards. This time of year sometimes it's 3 times in 2 weeks. We've had 2 days in the last 12 without rain, and the grass loves it. Rain doesn't get rid of the airborne pollen either, my nose proves that.

That's also the source of the brass chips many blame on SS pin tumbling. Until I started wet tumbling I religiously used a flash hole de-burr bit.

An extreme test for this is to put a bit of lube (a chunk the size of a boolit) on a paper towel, then set it on the dash of a closed up car on a sunny day. Look and feel if any oil migrates to the towel.

I have no idea what brand it is, but I have seen this in pulled down 'pre' WW II 7.65 Argentine. Like '36, '37, '38 head stamp brass. I do remember it was chunked together. Don't know if this will help or not.

If I were making a boolit lube to fit your parameters "I like that it is an easy formula to make, just a few common ingredients and relatively quick to make". I'd use 357Maximum's recipe for 666+1, AKA: Satan's lube. But it does get soft in high...
