Life is a terminal disease. Even Christ had to die. Spend the time you have left in support of those who are afflicted. The flip side of all this is that death isn't the end, but the reward for the past. Mom died at 92 from undiagnosed cancer...

I'm also working with a .357AR (barrel from MadDogWeapons Systems)... 158-200g ".357 MAX Rimless"! Made from AR 15 brass, uses common (inexpensive) bolt, and lightly modified Pmags!

I'm working on .300BO loads with the 135g FTX bullet for deer/ pigs. A little lighter than the 150 but still heavier than the 125g. Hope to get more speed than I could expect from 150 loads to encourage expansion and not as Pricey as Nosler...

Sadly, they are stacked, about 4 high, right in front of my work bench...stumbling over them was incorrect terminology(sorry), I should have said, "in the way...and reaching over them is a pain"

Problem is that the so-called learned are so intent on self-importance that they profess to already know everything and are just explaining it to us peons. We don't need them to accept Gods miracle and realize that he knew what he was doing at...

I was gifted a three reel Toro Mower from a church when it was returned as too old and in too rough a shape to rebuild. It was in boxes, completely disassembled. I was 8 years old at the time, and within two weeks I had it reassembled. Dad was...

I am hankering to do some smelting. I haven't done any for a couple years. I have 50 to 100 lbs of range scrap plus another 200+ lbs of unfired boolits and random fishin weights to melt. I'm just waiting for the mud to dry up in my smelting...

I'm not sure what pressure you are loading to, but if your 20:1 has been working good for you, Then you will probably want to mix about 6 lbs of your pure lead to 1 lb of linotype, that will bring the antimony down to about 2%, but tin will be well...

JonB_in_Glencoe replied to a thread Marlin or Henry in Leverguns
I quit the 44 leverguns, due to how Marlin and Henry make the barrel groove diameter and twist rate. If you can find a Marlin in 41 and can afford it, I'd buy it. I have one and love it. Last year I bought a Henry Big Boy Steel in 41. I like...

I no longer load 44 mag, but I did REALLY like HS-6 for mid level loads in 44 mag, back when I loaded for it. I've never tried it in the 500.

I agree, "I think most of the wax around cheese is a Microcrystalline food grade low melt temp" I have saved some wax from a brand of Irish cheddar cheese, it had a pretty thick layer of wax. It's surely not hard like Carnuba Wax is. This...

Yep, this is what I would do. Generally you can both see (light colored area) and smell freezer burnt meat...the smell is more of a "stale" type smell, not a rotten smell. It's easy to trim it off.
