I used to shoot High Power and the bulls for that discipline are in 6" increments; that is 6" @ 100 yds., 12" @ 200, and ultimately 36" @ 600, all of which make for a consistent sight picture. So, I like 6" centers. 35W

When I started loading AR's for my 1917's, I measured the water capacity of a random ACP case and a Starline AR case. One held 25 gr. of water, the other 26. Not enough difference to matter. That has been my experience exactly. Actually,...

My 4 3/4" Uberti .44 Special is probably my favorite revolver and has taken more game than any of my others. Here's a brand new 4 3/4" Cimarron .44 Special at a screaming good deal, can't believe no one's bought it yet. 35W

I can't compare these exact model in .44 Special, but I can tell you that my 5 1/2" Flat Top Blackhawk .44 Special weighs 2 lbs. 12.6 oz. while my 5 1/2" Cimarron .44 Special weighs 2 lbs. 5.8 oz., ...an almost 7 oz. difference. I...

Thanks! I have a 5 1/2" Ruger Flat Top Blackhawk .44 Special but the Rugers are just too heavy and clunky compared to Uberti's/Cimarron's. Adjustable sights? I've never seen the need in them and I see even less need in switching from this...

It's a little surprising how much misinformation there is on using aperture sights, but it really is simple. Disregard the aperture or peep, just look through the hole and put the front sight where you want the bullet to go. 35W

My very first traditional SA in .44 Special was/is a Cimarron Model P. I didn't care for the old-style sights, but I had a new issued FFL on the wall and $400 burning a hole in my pocket, so I bought it. The problem of the sights really wasn't...

Here's you a deal- NIB Cimarron Model P 4 3/4" .44 Special They turn up from time to time on Gunbroker and Dixie Gun Works typically has a good selection of .44 Special's. I have an older Uberti that was someone's 44-40 CAS revolver. I...

I've used the 358429 in my Rossi and it feeds OK, but you can't play pattycake with the lever, work it like you mean it. So far though I've only killed came with a RNFP hollowpoint. 35W

Almost a year late to the game! I keep a 20" 92 Rossi in the laundry room gun rack here at the house. There are frequently coyotes about looking for chicken dinner. I use two loads in my Rossi and its companion 4 3/4" Uberti Hombre. The...

I've used cast HP's on two deer; the first was a 5 1/2" Uberti Bisley in 45 Colt with a 265 gr. cast SWCHP, Bhn 9.5, running a smidge under 1050 fps, range 48 yds., bang and he dropped where he stood. The next one was another buck shot with...

My favorite cast bullet for light recoiling loads in small .44 Specials is this one. At around 850 fps is very managable even in a 21 oz. Bulldog. 35W
