They were not as clean and shiny as normal. Kind of a greasy feel to it. After I re-did them, all was good.

They are great. Making custom sizing rods is not hard, if you have a lathe. I have modified many into calibers that Lee doesn't offer. Again, easy if you have a lathe.

So Dewey replied to my email. They have no idea about it. Was way before their time. They think it was made and sold by John Dewey back in the 60's.

Here anyway, it's going way down. Even reloaders are going down. Mostly yahoos that watch to much TV and play way to much video games. All they know is black guns. Their shooting shows they don't know anything. It sad.

Wrong ones. The one in the picture. For the lube sizer press not the dies. As far as I can tell, it's a #16 O ring. Store had #14 and #17. I'll keep on looking.

Some pictures of what I came up with. The motor does have a fan in it, but seems like it's not doing much. 110v fan. Have the fan just sitting on some rags. Have it sucking through the motor. No seal to keep the flow through just the motor. It...

Ok, so it's probably normal. It sure is hot. The fan I added helped a bunch. It's still hot, but not hot enough to burn like before. I'll post a picture later.

I will check the motor. I'm sure it hasn't been cleaned or lubed. Looks clean inside. No dust or lint. The front and back don't get all that hot. It's the center (stator) that get hot Motor over working???? I did lube the rollers when i got...

Memorial Day here was nonexistent. No flags, no ceremonies, even the news didn't have anything. Normally the Boy Scouts put flags at the veterans cemetery. Nothing. Normally three parades on island. Nothing. Sad.

Was tumbling some brass today. While waiting for the water to get hot, saw a tub of Oxyclean. Stuff works good, so I thought why not try some. 9mm shell full, same as the Lemi shine and liquid car wax. Let it run for about two hours. NOT...

I have a Lortone QT-NR tumpler. The motor get really hot. Even when not under load. I tried adding a computer fan to suck heat out, but nothing. I'm thinking the motor is just to small. It's rated at MHP30. 30 metric horse power. What is...

Haven't had homemade pork and beans in over 45 years. When we were young, camping family would make it for dinner. After all day in the sun, beach and ocean, nothing tasted better. With bread and butter, orange ice cream/7up mix to drink,...

Have a Pacific Super Mag that someone cut one of the rams. Not sure why. If I could find a ram without the cut for the primer are, it would be much easier to do. Hoping to repair it and bring it back to normal.

According to the Lee book, the scoop should be plunged base first into the powder, then leveled off with something. Scooping will give inconsistent fill in. I've tried it both ways, and dipping is much better. When I used to use the scoops, I'd...
