I collect .22 boxes. Seems some people insist they have the ammo inside, or it's just junk. I'm sure those think the same with old primers. I've never heard of primer collectors.

Nothing that says From No. But there is ss-5m-1-55 on the bottom of the back page. The picture shows only the parts in the box plus one extra part It's a round aluminum that fits over the pin on the base, or inside of the shell holder. It could...

I too am a proud NRA life member. Have been since 1978. Used to subscribe to Shooting Times. Skeeter Skelton was my first go to. Handloader is not what it was, but it's about the best out there now. Guns is not bad.

Never had any problems with amazon. I would order way more from them if they were more Firearm owner supporters. They used to be, and I used to buy way, way more.

I've been playing with different cast boolets for my M1 Carbine. So far I've found the LEE 309 120 gas check works the best. Still trying different powders, but it's out shooting all the other boolets I've tried. I'm thinking it's the gas check.

I posted some pictures of some old primers in the Vintage section. How collectible are old primers???? Is the box more important than the primers???? Primers look to be in good, clean condition.

Good idea. I wasn't going to shoot it anyway. Rather have it go to some collector. BUT....... Shipping is going to be a problem. I have more old shotgun shells someplace. I'll find them someday.

I use regular muffs, with rubber ear plugs. I've found that I talk to loud with them on. I never noticed. Others did. I'm guessing it's because I can't hear myself. Think/hoping electronic muffs will help. Peltor's are nice, but a little...

Probably shouldn't have sold the Star, But it went to a good guy. I sold it because it's kind of hard to find the dies here. Lyman dies all over the place, but none for the Star. From the look of them, the RCBS looks the strongest. When I...

I've been using a Lyman 450. It's ok. I keep on thinking it's going to break something. I also have a Lyman 45 and a RCBS. Never tried them. Had a Star. Sold it. Dies seem hard to find at a price like the Lymans. So, of the three, which is...
