Hope I just didn't get lucky. Only loaded 10 rounds of each for testing. 50yds and 100yds. We'll see if it was just a fluke or not this weekend.

Worked on it tonight. The stock below the slide, when it was 3/4 way to the rear, was to high. Not sure why. Stock is not oil soaked. No termites. No cracks. ????? Sanded it down until it was even with the receiver. Problem solver.

Tried it at the range today. Unexpected results. 50yds off the bench. 5 shots This is the best it ever shot. 309id 2400 11.0gr Also tried 11.5 and 12.0 with 2400, and 11.0 and 12.0 with AA#9. Shot well, but not as good.

I trick i learned with the double disc is to tale the two disc together. Seems to make it more accurate. You'll also need longer screws with the risers.

I had sometime to play with an old redding, oil dampened, scale today. Without the oil, it was so frustrating. Takes forever for the beam to stop. I put some #30 oil in it, and it made a world of difference. Just as good as the magnetic...

My go to an old Pacific/Hornady, but it's hardly ever use anymore. I use a Lyman auto scale. I've used the 10-10 a few times just to see how good it is. Very good scale. Only thing i didn't like about it, was getting it all back in, so the...

Got the camera yesterday. Looks good. Came with everything it said. Also didn't come with a SD card. Posting said it didn't. Had to run out and get a card. $14.00. Not a big deal. Playing with it today, it works OK. Kind of small, but...

Got the mould already. Looking for a load. Ideal is an old Lyman pointy nose plain base 115g boolet. Forget the number. Shoots good, but wanted to try a gas check boolet. Going to try 11.0 to 12.0 of 2400. and 12.5 to 13.5 of W296. I might try...

The wife does the nuclear method and she removes mine a few minutes early so it doesn't break when you put it on the platter and stab it with a fork. I know of one person that deep fries the bacon, adds the bacon and never removes the drippin's ,...

Nice Marlin. Not much for eating here. I like it though. Not a real strong fish taste. More on the white meat side than Ahi. Great fighting fish. Where is that??? Kind of looks like Kewalo Basin in Honolulu.

i think I found the problem. The phone jack is all corroded. I think it maybe shorting the wires. Red and green. Since Radio Shack closed, don't have a go-to place for stuff like that. I'll need to drive to town and see if Home Depot or Lowes...

I had an electronic scale once. Didn't like it at all. To long to set-up, to sensitive and numbers kept changing. Just didn't feel comfortable with it. Beam scale goes with the KISS theory for me.
