The 312-155gr with 25.0gr of I4198 sounds like a good place to start. Looking for something medium load. 4" to 5" at 100. He's not really a shooter. Just starting out. Got the rifle a long time ago, and just found some surplus ammo(from my...

My Destroyer in 9mm Largo again. The head space looks to be to deep. Using Star Line shells, no boolet, extractor will not grab the rim. If possible, could I seat the boolet out farther, to make up for the deep head space????

The 9mm Win mag looks like it would work. I'm almost sure I don't have any, but I'll have to check. Thanks.

Cat wanted to go outside tonight, so I thought it would be a good chance to check the stock fit. It was not to good. Left side was pushing the barrel to the right in three places. One spot, where the front sling goes, was pushing up on the...

I didn't slugg it at first, because the bore is so nice. Just "assumed" bore was good. Assumed bites me in the back side again. Going to try some .361di 150gr boolets. Lapped out a mold for the 38 S&W I have.

I guess it's not as uncommon as I thought. It's the first I've heard of it happening. When we were young, we used to get a 12GA round. Hot glue a cork, with a nail poked in it, so the point would hit the primer. Hot glue some string or strip...

Any plans for Memorial Day???? Looks like we might be having dinner at the range after shooting. Hotdogs, chili, potato salad, anything else people bring. We used to do "movies at the range", but we're getting old, so haven't done it for a...

Channel is just about 15/16" wide. Screw hold, with a brass bushing. The 1/2 mold will make a nice paper weight. I does kind of look like a Saeco.

Didn't know the guy. Didn't get any information on the rifle. He did shoot more after, and all was good. When I went back, he was gone. I did find some 9mm cases by where he was. Cases very dirty. Lots of carbon all over. When my friend got...

There are spirits there. Many of them all over the island. Older people tell tales of Menehune's.

Had another 9mm blow up yesterday. No one got hurt. 9mm AR Not sure what caused this one. Most of the time, the primer goes off before chambering. This one has a firing pin hit to the primer. Suppose to be factory ammo. We've had a few of...
